Came in for a Sunday Brunch, Very disappointed I would say. Won’t come ever again with that price. The only nice thing is the actual restaurant looks very nice and clean. Hope they put the same effort in foodOrdered the crab pasta. It is baby pasta with tomato sauce straight out from a can. Soggy pasta, sauce with no taste.

It had been a while since we had shopped at Chatswood, but back then we had always enjoyed dining at this venue. Obviously times have changed. On our visit today the first thing that surprised us, and not in a good way, was the high prices for fairly basic meals. When my order for the avocado and smoked salmon on sourdough arrived I could not cut through the toasted sourdough with the very blunt knife provided. When I attempted to get a member of the staff to come to our table she looked at me and walked away. After a second attempt, she eventually came to our table. I informed her that it was impossible to cut through the toasted bread with the blunt knife and requested a steak knife, which she provided. Guess what? The steak knife was also blunt! My husband was having the same problem with his Reuben sandwich and we both ended up eating the filling and leaving the bread. At those prices, it’s not acceptable. I challenge management to attempt to eat these dishes using your current cutlery and then go out and buy good, sharp knives so that your customers can enjoy what they pay for. We dine out frequently at various restaurants where we are treated warmly and professionally and where we are happy to pay a decent price for their service.

- This review is for their service only -Was greeted very poorly by a staff (possibly the manager or someone who thinks she could order people around) from the very beginning when we waited to be seated. We were the only group waiting but she decided to best let all customers pay for their meal first even when the people queuing to pay was growing longer. When she was finally done with that she couldn’t even bother to walk towards us and greeted us while she was still at the till. She then led us to our table, put down the menus then left without saying anything or even looked back at us. Just one of those days.

Centre Stage is normally pretty decent. But something has changed for 2023. Menu definitely, service (extremely bad), food (terrible at best). Asked for additional sauce on the side, but this would have been $2 extra! Asked for some water, and the waiter pointed towards a bench for self service (now I’m not precious about these things, but it is the way it was communicated).Got our food. I ordered a Ham, Cheese and Egg Crepe. It was barely cooked. Looked liked it was prepared the previous night and then heated up for service. Most distressing was that I FOUND A HAIR - and IT WAS CURLY!!! YUCK. If I had the option of a negative rating I would have. Google won’t let me rate it a zero or below. It is a shame. This place used to be good.

Disappointed. Walked away with an empty tummy as I was told I had to pay full price for a meal as they don't substitute items in their menu. I have an egg allergy and wanted to eat breakfast. I was not going to be charged for something I can't physically eat without causing an allergic reaction. I believe it's a ridiculous and unethical in their practices. Two of the waitresses said they don't substitute and we were required to pay the full price. I just wanted baked beans instead of egg and didn't even get that far before just leaving.Cafe owners need to ensure an alternative menu to cater for people who want to eat what others do minus things they physically or religiously cannot. I won't be returning again. Considering also their menu is quite expensive. There should be consideration for substituting foods ok their menu. Everything is already expensive enough as it is and then to pretty much be robbed like this is inexcusable. Do better.

Loved it! Had brunch and enjoyed the food, some new dishes like a steak skillet and spinach pancake that I haven’t seen before - Yum!Service was friendly and I was positively surprised about the speed despite the busyness.

Always pop in for food and coffee whenever we visit the Chase and always found the service and food excellent but have to say as an avid coffee drinker the coffees are always great. I even change my coffee orders to see if they drop the standard and no they are always tasty and excellent. Some places serve you hot water and call it a cappuccino but not this place.

Top nosh cafe located on level 2 of Chatswood Chase. The spinach pancake I ordered for breakfast was expertly prepared by experienced chefs. It consisted of avocado slices, poached egg, ricotta cheese, spinach leaves, on a spinach pancake base, with a drizzle of sriraci sauce. Highly recommend the iced teas. I tried both: the peach, and the blueberry with mint. I always find it disappointing to read on the menu that split bills are not accepted.
