Food and cocktails were great and waiter was great, place is beautiful, front of house staff were terrible. We were waiting at the front desk for about 5 minutes (it was a quiet lunchtime) while the manager lady refused to make eye contact with us, despite being in front of us she was far too busy on her phone. Nearly walked away but my wife approached the man at the bar who was helpful and sorted us out. When we left there was no acknowledgement from the front of house, so was all lovely but ruined by a manager that seemed like she would be better placed at a Spotlight.

There seems to be hype about Cityfields but it was a little bit of a let down. The food was so average for their prices. Presentation was basic. The food tasted good but there were flavours that could have been enhanced. There were 5 of us dining and all of us had the same opinion. The service wasn't great but the staff did try their best. Maybe they need to be trained more to cope with busy, high demand, peak times for service. They were quite friendly though.

Heard about this new precinct in the press. Everything the team from Food & Desire" touch turns to gold. Cityfields no different. Love this restaurant. Just easy & casual. Everything was perfect. Service

We've come here twice for both dinner and lunch, and really enjoyed both visits. It's great to finally have a lovely restaurant style venue at Chaddy. Really extensive wine list, trout was great on both occasions, as well as steak and the salads too. Service was professional, welcoming, friendly and attentive. Beautiful ambience as well. Can't wait to to enjoy more meals here. Highly recommend!

4pm on a friday afternoon and there are no staff at the front entrance or bar area. waited to be seated for 10 minutes with no greeting then seated ourselves for 5 minutes with still no service. very disappointing, definitely will not be returning

So so good! Although we were walk ins they introduced us to their upstairs Terrace for the first time to the public! It was a busy Friday night but service and atmosphere was amazing, one of the best restaurants @ Chadstone The Social Quarter. Thank you for having us, will be coming back!

The chairs are not comfortable to sit for a longer period of time (wood, no foam).The menu font size is so small, and due to dim lighting, we could hardly see (I don't use glass and have good eyesight).Dinner menu options were very few, and although price is on high side, the portion sizes are not.We order fries as a starter, the waiter decided to bring them with mains instead.Glass of wine, more like less than 1/4 of a glass. Way too little for $15.Finally, I had food poisoning after eating the fish (trout).two stars because we still had a good time somewhat, and I like the location.26/05/23 Update for my original review;I got contacted by the management team from the restaurant to follow up on the food poisoning incident. I was assured that they have checked all the fish they received to the restaurant on the day and confirmed that the fish was fresh, and the same dish was served to many other guests without any issues. Although I can't disagree with how I felt after eating the Trout, I'm happy to agree it may have been a one-off incident and they are very thorough in their food preparation. Also my rant about low volume per glass of wine, apparently that is something call 'standard pour'. Next time I'll order the damn bottle! Appreciate they contacted me - it shows that they are committed and do take customer feedback serious.

So glad that there is another family friendly all-day dining restaurant in Chadstone. Considered as a newly opened restaurant, I find it satisfied with my overall dining experience here. Not only the place is comfortable, the service is amazing. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable and attentive.The food I have are all palatable, balance in flavour, were served in decent portion, and have a clean after taste. The roasted chicken is delicious, and I am so much loved with the classic cheeseburger. As I don't have more room for the dessert, a cup of long black as a closure is just perfect.

This place is big and I liked how you are not seated closely to other tables. Great ambience and very comfortable even with kids.Highlight for me and all of us at the table was the service. They should just win an award for that. Keep it up!I had the sirloin, wife had the artichoke pie and kid had the cheeseburger.We were all happy with our mains.Will definitely be back.
