Country Road - Indooroopilly

One of the staff is so rude. She let go the checkout bag when it nearly reached my hand and she looked like she doesn’t enjoy doing customer service. When I got home, I realised she didn’t removed the magnetic security tag. It’s a long way from my place to this store and I don’t go there everyday so it’s inconvenient. I love the store, but this staff in particular sets bad example for the customer experience for the store and the brand.

Waited for about 15 minutes to pay for one item. I completely understand this is the silly season and that everyone just needs to be patient. It is the attitude of the team member that I have an issue with.Samantha who served me at the counter called out “Come up here” as soon as she was finished with the previous client. I would have expected some sort of an apology for the wait but no. Samantha is doing us all a huge a favour by working there and you just feel like a cattle being called to be slaughtered rather than a paying customer. By the way, without customers you wouldn’t have a job. I guess I just expected more from a company of this calibre. They had better customer service at Stacks (discount store) - I was greeted and thanked. You would think this is the bare minimum?

I work in the centre and I love country road but the Indro one is so disappointing, customer service wise. Literally every time I go in I walk pass numerous team and none are bothered to greet me or see if I need any assistance.

I purchased two country road Tees on 20th July and i quite like the brand.I was waiting infront of a gentleman and when my turn came -The salesman - Probably in his 30’s at the counter looked at me in a condescending way and gestured go to the next line.I just don’t like to complain However I had to call this out at his lack of manners.That was so embarrassing for me coming from this guy.He could have sounded more polite- I understand he might be having a tough life but that’s not the way to treat customers.and it’s not acceptable in any way.

Staff (Samantha, manager god knows how) was so rude. I am an employee at DJs so we get a discount at CR. I purchased a sweatshirt for my father that was too small and sadly this was the only store that stocked his size. I called ahead to put it on hold. When I showed up later in the afternoon to exchange it the absolute attitude and manner in which she spoke to me was so rude, as though we were on her way even though we literally get told to go above and beyond for EVERY costumer, besides I wasn't yelling at her or anything of the sort, just telling her what i needed. She then saw my DJs tag on (I had just finished work) and said not to call to put things on hold as I would stop a costumer" from potentially buying it???? I told her I hadn't mentioned that I was staff and she said 'its common curtesy'??? sorry? I am still a paying costumer just as much as her

I go across town to avoid this Country Road. Sadly this is my closest one. I went in there to enquire about my late online order and I just wanted someone to check where it was or if it was in store waiting collection. It was refused and they kept saying there was nothing they could do about it. I got back home unimpressed and as soon as I pulled up I got an email that it was in store. Had someone JUST kindly checked at the back, it would save me going back now. It was more that everyone there talk like robots reading off a script. Not the service you expect for the price tag.

Tara provides great service! She helped me when I had to buy work clothes and she helped me again today when I had to do an exchange in sizes! She is kind and friendly!

Such a a shame visiting this store, no customer service at all. I love shopping at Country Road and staff are usually vibrant/friendly and always offer a warm welcome to the store. This store however was the complete opposite - I walked in and felt as if staff members just ignored me. After walking around the store a few times, obviously looking for some help, I decided to wait in line at the counter.Usually when you start waiting in line, a staff member will acknowledge you and say ‘won’t be long’ or something along those lines so you feel seen, but not this time! I was made to wait twice while people from changes rooms returned and were fixed up before me. I don’t mind if someone else is being served first, just a bit of friendly customer service communication would’ve made me feel at lot more comfortable.The reason I felt it necessary to write this review is I am a new mother and had my baby girl with me. It’s hard to get out of the house most days, but when I make the effort Country Road is usually a shop where I feel comfortable to go into with a pram and know a certain level of staff assistance is there. That just wasn’t the case with this store, I’m hoping the Indooroopilly CR staff read this and feel obliged to up their customer service so future mums don’t feel the same way I did. I won’t be back.
