Wide, easy trail. Plenty of space for hikers, runners and mountain bikers to pass each other. Peaceful lookout.

This place is a great place to visit and have a light trail. You can have a quick route from the east part, or take a longer route through the park. The bushes are quite open and areas allow for even more beautiful views, from the river to the ocean. The trees are also a plus for making this trail special.

Easy access if you walk from 159 Farnell Avenue. However I did the loop the other way around and came across this viewpoint towards the end of the loop. Offers a good view and there are benches where you can sit.

Easy broad flat walk that you can do with pushing anything on wheels. Saw a senior person walking this trail with walking frame. Absolutely stunning Bungoona Lookout not far from car park where spacious clean toilets are also located.Native wildflowers, gnarled trees with massive roots & craggy rocks are a visual treat if you pay due attention...The winds are very strong! The view over the deep river gorge reminds you of Scottish Lochs or NZ's Sounds. Obviously - a clear blue sky will enhance your pics.

My absolute favourite local trail run or walk when I lived in the area. Highly recommended midweek daytime to have the entire trail to yourself. Grays Point Road is a good parking/start/finish point for a fabulous 16km. Give yourself 2 hours to run or 4 hours to walk. Not even a Telstra signal from just after Engadine until half way up Honeymoon (going anticlockwise), have a survival strategy - you can run without water and first aid but not recommended for most people. Wear safety specs if running through the tight Engadine - Audley section, definitely take a waterproof map with ID/emergency contact, check for bush fires. Both directions have benefits so I alternate. You will need a national parks pass if parking in the park (annual pass is best).
