Misinformed about screen door to my sliding door was told by Salesman (launceston) that it was possible not to have a Centre break as to not interrupt my views -anyway windows turned up with Centre break in screen door ,sent back with delivery truck same day requesting the salesman to call me he never did I ended up calling 2 weeks later only to be put through to factory floor where they explained it's not possible to have no Centre bracket and suggested one at a lower spot on door as to keep views (Great )waited another 2 weeks no screen door called left message no replies sent email was sent a forwarded email requesting my request to factory floor (no reason or apology why I hadn't received it) 1 week later I return home from working away to find exact same screen door with center bracket and also another screen which wasn't for me ,called again no calls back called state manager in Hobart said he would call me back the same day if not first thing morning ,3 days later still no call back from him ,called again still have no reply ,called Launceston salesman who then tried to tell me it was my fault for continually changing my mind...

No communication. Ordered a new shower screen for bathroom reno through our builder. Was told by Tim from GS when he measured that it would be 2 weeks. 2 weeks later we hear nothing. I chase them up - oh a piece had to come from a subby in Hobart. It’ll be here Tuesday week and we’ll install on Friday. Friday rolls around we hear nothing. I’m chasing them again. Oh it’s booked for Monday. When was anyone from GS going to speak to the customer. Poor girl on reception has to prevent customers speaking to anyone about their job. Just relays messages. Unacceptable. Told 2 weeks, it’ll be 4 weeks if we are lucky.

Unfortunately our builder decided on Glass Supplies windows and doors for our new home. All of the expensive double glazed metal frame doors whistle in the wind and let in drafts. 50% of our window winders failed within 12 months and needed replacing. One door was particularly bad and recently we had Titane take out the near new door and replace it with one of their doors. Right from the start it was brilliant. No whistles or drafts in the strongest winds, without the need for any third party products. The maintenance guys at Glass Supplies were great and always willing to try to fix the problems but ultimately the product let us down.

I was there for 10, 3 employees. Absolutely no acknowledgement that I was there. Well done. No way you're getting our business.

I don't know about their workmanship as I wasn't given the chance of becoming a customer.I called them and left a message as they were not answering my call, I filled their online query form asking to contact me, not to avail I was completely ignored and it's been well over a week!I know builders and suppliers are overwhelmed with the demand in Tasmania, but all it take it's 5min max to reply!Found this attitude very arrogant, a lack of courtesy. When the demand will go down then they will beg locals to use their products and services, but once you lose a customer it's too late.

I asked a few places looking for some custom made glass panels for my DIY project, this one is the only one that accept my request, others all saying 'we only do windows these days. Prices are reasonable too. Great.

We had a brilliant first experience with glass supplies, our second experience has been a bit more difficult due to wait times being longer than expected, but the professionalism of the staff, has lifted our spirits.
