Woomera Heritage Centre
Brilliant place to discover and learn the history of Woomera.Visit for free, gets some food from the Diner, buy some souvenirs from the convenience store inside the Centre. All very good, and most welcoming.Highly worth the detour of the highway. This is a must.

Awesome history. Driving around it's hard to imagine it as a thriving town. Full of fascinating photos and memorabilia. There's a bowling alley, cafe and more. Definitely worth a visit!!

Brilliant!!!Well done Woomera !Tell the story completely!Photos movies and some of the best rocket displays ever . A fantastic place to spend some hours ...even the kids seem to enjoy.The sad thing about the place is it also shows how Australia has gone from a world leader to a has been . We should have one of the best space programs in the world.

Fantastic centre to visit. Lots of great displays to look and learn about what they did when they tested the rockets and how they tracked them. Highly recommend you stop by and have a look for yourself and don’t forget the family.
