This Gym deserves a 4 star at least but they have still not repaired the dangerous pool railing issue so until it is repaired I will give this gym a 3 star review. The glazed tiling trim is coming off in thin glass shavings and I reported this concern when a child cut their foot on the damaged glazing on the tile edge. I went to check if the issue was resolved this week to give a fair review but I am disappointed that the pool edging, I was told by management, is still waiting for approval from head office to be fixed. This is really disappointing news.This is is a good club with access to a pool, which is great. A while back there were issues with the glazing tiles in the pool flaking off which was super dangerous but I believe that management have since taken care of this OHS and public safety issue.The pool has a ramp entry and can be used for occupational therapy too and has a less deep area for kids too.There are many trainers to choose from and a good range of equipment. They do have no-lock in contract options for a higher premium.Reception staff are friendly.Not too much pressure to join or if you leave but the gym still lacks some magic. The group exercise options are limited to one main hall from what I could see and the experience is less personal or polished than I would have imagined from this club.Still, it’s definitely a good gym option in the area with less parking challenges to face in comparison to other gyms that are closer to Chermside.It’s a unisex gym and it includes free weight and highly mechanised weight options.

Good facility, the personal trainer I got help from was great, however customer support here is pretty terrible. Had a mate who was interested and mentioned this when I signed up, they said give us his number and if he decides to join it'll speed things up and we won't contact him unless he contacts us... Nek minute my mate is getting cold calls. Also being signed on and then having within that same month a drop in membership costs for new sign ons leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.

We love this gym, the female only area at the back of the gym is a great space, and having the pool on-site is super handy. We wish the staffed hours were a little later each day, particularly on weekends, or if minors (16 yr) could attend after-hours classes with an adult.

The feedback form on the website is not usable! It gives a form incomplete" error even when all of the fields are filled out

After people reviews, I changed my mind. I need a pool for hydrotrpy (just walking), but with this type of contract, it is better to make a pool at home.

I cancled my membership after years of paying even when I didn’t go for couple years because of disrespectful and unprofessional behaviour of a PT manager, called , Jade Fischer. Who even wasnt the gym manager. I was encouraged by friends to join another fitness centre called clubs and coops but I continued to go to good life because my friend who is very knowledgeable and interested in the science of exercise also has been regular member of this gym and she motivated me to come ( as I said I was a member but did nt practice) . As someone who didnt have a good experience with PT s in the past, and as a physician who knows many injuries can be caused by some PTs inappropriate programs, I preferred to be helped and guided by my friend who I know and trust . My husband impressed by my improvement and joined us after years of just being an inactive member. This was not tolerated by a PT manager who very abruptly and inappropriately and in-front of everyone at gym stopped my friend and husband s work out . I went there to talk to manager and she had the same angry attitude. Even accused my friend of training “ an old lady” who is obviously her mother , coming with her some weekends as Guest! She even didnt have enough information. We really expected. Professional, polite and gentle approach. I even emailed the manager but has received any response. We were disappointed but Turned out better for us though as we finally went and checked the clubs and coops which with a non considerable increase in membership fee, has more and newer equipment, more facilities like tennis and squash court and way better customer service .

I decided recently to cancel my membership with Goodlife, Now upon requesting to cancel my membership I was informed that apparently they had renewed my contract for a further 12 months...Without even getting a signature from me, OR CONTACTING ME!now I'm a single parent in this RENT crisis we are currently experiencing.I cannot afford $20 per week to a gym I DO NOT ATTEND!Absolutely disgusted with the lack of transparency with this business.

I gotna GL membership so that I can use any of the clubs. Aspley was def a great experience.I didn't get to use the pool, but loved the outdoor training area.

Interesting gymDefinitely it was something different before became a gym.Plenty of space, a massive area well planned.If o have to find a down, maybe just the absence of sauna and steam room

Visited this place after many years. I used to go there when it was the Rhee Tae Kwon Do centre. It appears to have nice modern equipment, great outdoor area, nice pool, and well maintained grounds. If I lived closer, I'd definitely go here.
