Was having an issue with my Alfa 159’s transmission. Sorted in no time. Brenno is a gun!

I'd give a zero or negative if i could. My Alfa Brera had been running beautifully, albeit w a slightly noisey timing chain. A little stretched but no engine light. It seems the starter motor went so RACV towed it to Jean Carlo's (JC) Maranello Pursang. I asked them to service it as well. My wife went to pick the car up. Paid $1200 or so. Got in and it wouldnt start so they used jumper leads to get it going! She got 20 metres if that and went back because the car was running horribly with terrible loud noises, shuddering and no power. Cant believe they were prepared to let my wife drive off in a car in such an obviously outrageously bad state. She rang me and i told her to leave until i could go myself. A couple of days later i got there. Same thing. Dead battery (least of my concerns tho). Truly horrible noises and performance. JC was at a loss to explain it, citing the stretched timing chain as only possibility. I asked him to pls check over the work they'd done to ensure they hadnt missed anything. Came back a few days later. No difference. No explanation. Attempted to deny they were responsible, saying, I dont know what it was like beforehand - it came on a tow truck". Indifferent to my wife's testimony and now mine. Offering to do timing chain for another $3000 or so. They completely stuffed our lovely car. Took it to a different mechanic to try and find the problem. Has cost me another $2000 so far with him trying various things to fix the problem. God only knows what they did to it and they were happier to see the back of me than to take responsibility and look after the customer. No apologies. Nothing!"

Brilliant! I was heading off on a Friday afternoon for a long weekend in the country and had a cooling system problem. Giancarlo and the team came to the rescue, supplying and fitting the right part while I waited. Big thank you from me! 10/10.

What a brilliant mechanic. Bruno and his team are honest, reliable and pleasant. I don't live in Melbourne and bought a car locally. Bruno did the inspection, found the items that needed to be repaired. and did the repairs in record time for a very fair price. I'd happily recommend them for anyone looking for a good mechanic.

Advised they would be able to fix my MGs overdrive and tune carby without a problem. In the end told me to take it elsewhere to get an overdrive diagnostic because they were a bit out of their depth, yet still charged me full price for all the investigation, which I thought was a little rich. Turns out they forgot to put the solonoid ball bearing back when putting it back together.Tune up was not done properly, and not tested on the road - still major flat spots in acceleration and lack of power. Twin SU carbs are supposedly not that complex. Other components of a good tune up were not looked at.All these problems were later fixed by the Healey Factory with ease.The experience was pretty poor with seemingly little interest in what I had to say before and after.Definitely would not advise taking an MG there

There isn't anybody else in Melbourne I would trust with my BMW. There prices are fantastic, service is excellent, knowledge of specialty cars is outstanding. Highly recommended to anybody who is looking for a good mechanic/garage to have there euro car serviced.
