This place doesn't even deserve 1 star.Helen was abusive, rude and abrupt her tone is extremely aggressive and upsetting.I waited an extra 2 hours sitting in the salon whilst she never battered an eyelid at me, only to tell me if I can do it better go and do it myself" and not to question her as a hairdresser (in relation to a gel she used) the positive reviews on this page must be fake. Save yourself the time

The customer service experience is one to really relive again. I like the soft touch of how it felt when they did my braids and the smile of comfort on the faces of the staff, made me feel like home.

I was in there about 2 years ago to find some wigs, but when I ask the person at the counter, she was being rude raising her voice very abusivly… never coming here again, it would be best to go to Hairhouse for that

Poor customer service. I made an appointment for 10a.m to get my hairdone but the hairdresser ran an hour late and to make matters worse, there were 3 more people waiting for her who had happened to book a 10a.m appointment. How can one person braid 4 people at once?

customer service is terrible, always kept waiting and didn’t even get the hairstyle i asked for. If you’re looking for a pleasant experience and want to leave with the exact style you had in mind, this isn’t the place for you.

Hello all. I've been coming to see Helen for a while now and I came in today to make myself feel better as I have short fine hair. So I chose to use a human hair wig and she cornrowed my hair first then sewed the beautiful soft wig on. It was at a great price compared to other salons and I absolutely LOVE it. I have my confidence back now. I recommend this place alot She is so kind as well.

Excellent service, worth the Money they know how to braid

Please ignore any positive feedback here It’s not real. Helen is a dishonest and inconsiderate person. Pls this is not a *hate feedback* this is an honest story of what happened just yesterday.am pretty new to the city, so when I searched for afro -salon, Helen’s shop popped up. I ignored some of the negative feedbacks, kept an opened mind and went to give it a try. Long story short, Helen didn’t know how to straighten my hair properly before making the cornrows. The cornrows were thick and bulky , crossing over each other. On top of the mess she made , she began fixing the crochet. The crochet wasn’t relaxed and Seated because the cornrows aka the foundation wasn’t done right . I left devastated and disappointed, I had spent 120AUD for nothing. I came back and I told her what I have just narrated here and she said the reason my crochet wasn’t seated and nice looking is because my crochet was thick! Finally I asked for my money back , she bluntly refused . I went to the opposite shop ( NO 2 Ian street Noble park) , which I suggest you do. they were so sorry for me , they fixed my hair and charged me 50 AUD . Apparently am not the first to be mistreated by Helen, I learnt yesterday that she has a reputation of disservice without refund.Please If your new to the city, you can use Helen location to navigate yourself to noble park ( because it’s the only shop that popps out) , however when you get to Noble park, there are other salons , really better salon ! That would appreciate and respect your opinion.You can give (NO2 Ian street noble park ) a try, i left happy because of them.I will try to attach a pic of Helen’s cornrows for crochet For you to see.In summary: Helen I advice you give up being a hairdresser, you obviously have no passion for it.all the best.Reply to Helen,( I have been dis enabled toRespond to Helen’s reply so am gonna respond here )Helen your not sorry. your sorry because your now in public and 10 years of running a business doesn’t equal customer satisfaction!!it’s good you mentioned that I asked you to take it out, see how misleading you are, you just narrated a twisted piece of the story . as I mentioned Helen is dishonest, she took out the first crochet just at the beginning of the hair( very few crochet were on), not twice but ones ! I was prompted to ask her to stop because as I previously stated , she doesn’t know how to do cornrows!!so everything else that laid on the cornrows looked horrible. as naive as I was, helen convinced me that the first crochet came out bad because of its thickness and not because of her bulky cornrow. I spent extra 40AUD buying another set of crochet which was very light, still it turned out so awful.Guys I have posted a pic of the cornrows she made for my crochet, go see for yourself and be the judge …Helen , listen you see money comes and goes but the impression you make on people last forever.
