Lady Lola Deli Bar Bistro

Had a wonderful experience tonight at Lady Lola, white Anchovies were well balanced, ocean trout was sensational with the fennel and plum added and welcomed tartness, however the prawn risotto was first class.The service was good and the chef working in a small environment was worth watching as we sat at the bar. Well done to all the staff, hope to be back soon.

LOVED this place! Delicious food and awesome team that clearly love what they do. Definitely be back!! I didn't take enough photos of the dishes we ate, but the zucchini dish was delicious!

We went to Lady Lola last weekend and have not stopped talking about what an amazing experience we’ve had. The food was wonderful, fresh, tasty and a really well thought out menu. The restaurant is suited for a romantic dinner or friends and family get together. It has a very homely feel, however quite modern at the same time. Above all, the service we received was of highest standard. The owner and staff are very welcoming, ensure that each customer feels welcome, listens to and comfortable even at quite busy times. Congratulations on such a great business at a very tricky time for the hospitality industry as well. We can’t stop raving about our experience and are looking forward to our next visit to Lady LOLA.

Perfect date night experience. Best food in town. Epic staff. Rocking gourmet in their t-shirts behind the welcoming bar. So friendly, so chill, so delicious. We just LOVED all of it. Can’t wait to go back.

We twice enjoyed the wonderful food , delightful friendly service and exceptional wine list during a recent 10 night stay in beautiful Dunsborough. This restaurant has been open about 18 months and is situated between Yari and Blue Manna restaurants.The restaurant has a very personable staff from Nel front of house, to Michelle the exceptional chef, to other fantastic support staff in Raine and Laurence. We enjoyed wines from the local Margaret River Region and Internationally (Nel is exceptionally helpful in assisting with the evening's selection) whilst the tapas style food demands a second visit - try the Truffle Risotto or the home made gnocchi. The veal is also delicious. My wife and I vestured to Lady Lola on our own but on return we wanted our locally based farming friends to share a really great experience. We had a ball.

Really enjoyed Lady Lola.We had the cocktails & oysters before our dinner booking somewhere else which where both great and the owner was super friendly. We will definitely return back to try more food!

Terrible experience we had started off with letting us know they are very understaffed and the menu has been reduced a little.I don't mind about the menu less is more but don't tell me I'm about to get bad service.We then got seated outside on a cold evening with no heaters on a small bar bench looking into a bush, wasn't given any cutlery or share plates in a share style restaurant and seated on a small wooden bar table not big enough for our plates we asked to get moved inside, they sat us on the bar infront of the meat slicer......only to get starred at by all the staff obviously because I complained and they must of mentioned this to all the staff.We finished our bread and most of the first few dishes before our wine came out.I then saw the chef slicing the mortadella right infant of me with the skin casing still attached absolutely oblivious to it and the moved on the ask the lady on the bar what meat is the jamon? I felt like pointing it out as they only offer 4 types plus some dried sausage.The food is not worth mentioning really poor and over priced 38$ for the gnocchi with overcooked prawns and scallops shocking and unedited in a metallic tasting sugo sauce.Never again

Lady LolaWe finally went to Lady Lola for a meal.What can I say, we had food and drinks and it was a mixed bag.The food was excellent we ordered:Two serves of baguette and French butter.Beetroot Carpaccio + Goats Cheese + Walnut PralineBlack Figs + Gorgonzola + MacadamiaCaponata Goulash + Olives + Polenta CustardBeef Cheek Bourguignon + Nduja + Grana PadanoBaguette was lovely and soft, the French butter did not disappoint. It was not rock hard either which was a win.The Beetroot Carpaccio was great, fresh and full flavoured it all combined well.Black Figs & Gorgonzola - An amazing dish, the sweet of the fig contrasting with the flavours of the Gorgonzola, yum.I had to ask what the Caponata Goulash was, a vegetarian dish, I was thinking/hoping it was goat. Ha ha…. Well it was very good with great flavours and decent sized dish polenta custard was interesting. Nice a light not what I was expecting which was a solid lump of polenta.The Beef Cheek Bourguignon was the winner, well cooked tender beef cheeks in a rich gravy. Wow I didn’t want to let the empty dish go.I had a Dark & Stormy and a Lola Classic NegroniThe Dark and Stormy… This is a well known cocktail.Firstly it doesn’t have bitters in it, and this one I got wasn’t very dark or stormy. It’s supposed to be the colour of a cloud you would not want to be caught in a storm under. So it’s appearance was fail.I did struggle with the flavours, I could barely taste the rum or the lime. Maybe it was the bitters which confused things, I struggled to tell. The line should stand up and be tasted but it just wasn’t there, It was a 5/10 at best.Now comes an important drink.The key to a good Negroni is BALANCE.It’s a simple cocktail with equal parts gin, vermouth and Campari.This one disappointed as all I could taste was the Campari bitters. Try as I might I couldn’t taste the gin or the vermouth.So the food was excellent but the bar was disappointing.I’ll go back for the food and next time talk to the bar person. There is always hope.

Lady Lola was recommended to us by Angela at Montague (don't miss the cellar door at Montague if you are here). The team were warm, inviting and the food was inspired, imaginative and masterful. The drinks were passionately prepared.After wining and dining our way around MR, sparing no expense, my partner and I agreed our dinner at Lady Lola was the highlight and worth writing home about. We would fly back just to have another evening at their bar. Ladies you absolutely rock and we'll keep our eye on you.

My husband and I had a beautiful dinner at Lady Lola. The cocktails and wine are delicious; the food amazing; and the service wonderful. We sat up at the bar & would recommend. Definitely head to Lady Lola if you are in Dunsborough.
