Arkana Motel

Unfortunately this place is proud of turning your way if you need a bed after 8 PM. There’s a reason that they are the only one that has space left at the inn. Not a real hotel /motel. When I called desperate for a room with everywhere all sold out, telling them that I was checking my elderly mother out of the hospital and needed a space for us to sleep after my 3 Hour drive and a two hour flight, she was proud to turn me away because I wouldn’t be there at their convenience before 8 PM. Looking at the photos I really didn’t want to stay there anyway, it looks hideous. Enjoy cell block Arcana. Desperately need to join 2022 and use a lock box to give travelers a self check in option. As well as renovate.

We stayed for 2 nights. Room was comfortable, rates are reasonable. They could do with more business. The restaurant was not open when we were there. Buy your own milk.

Very bad facilities, shower head fell off after turning on taps. Beds where horrible, staff where terribly rude and had my possessions stolen from the room by staff after forgetting it when leaving. Would recommend staying anywhere but here. Arkana motel waste of money and land. Sell the buisness if you can't handle your operations.

Though an older motel it was relatively clean, had usual amenities. Only spoke to manager for 5 mins, so can't really comment. Price was slightly dearer than some of the others that were closer to main street and eateries. Handy position for passing through, as on the highway.

A little disjointed in the price, but then I didn't ask to see the room

Was $40 less to stay here than where I stayed last night... and unlike there... the shower here did NOT smell of pee! Very impressed!

Stayed with my partner and our 2 year old. Great service. Beds made and towels changed daily. Really nice and friendly staff. Would definitely book there again.

1st up, it cost more per night than Carriers Arms yet was pathetically small comparatively & outdated. Skid marks still in the toilet, A/C stunk when I turned it on, then swiftly off due to stink & noise. No fan in tiny, tiny, bathroom so either open louvre windows & suffer noise from side road or close up - not that steam was an issue as water was luke warm at best.

Sign out front says great rates well after staying in several. Motels in the past few weeks rates are terrible says $128 on the webwe’re charged 145 plus 1.28% surcharge never had that before and bed was full of little black bugs Not happy most expensive motel on this trip and the worst we have stayed in only that we needed sleep

It's very old but very well maintained, very clean, comfortable and overall serviceable, I would stay there again no problems
