Uriarra Crossing, specifically Uriarra East, is a beautiful and scenic place to go! It is free, dog friendly, family friendly and easy to get to. Easily one of my favourite places around Canberra!

Magical place.Crossing is over Murrumbidgee River.There’s walking trails on either side of the crossing as well as swimming holes when the river is high enough.There’s two different BBQ areas also as well as a couple of toilets.Nice retreat not far from the hustle and bustle of Canberra.Unfortunately there’s no camping.
