I let one of the staff know I was looking for a job. Within 2 days I had a meeting with a suitable employer. Got the job and now a very happy employee. AimBig's staff have both a large professional and personal network that they called on to find me a position. I'm very thankful for the opportunity.

My daughter went to aim big specifically for mental illness issues to steer away from main stream job providers. This year she went across the border to support and meet family of a now deceased person they both watched go into a palliative state from lung cancer. She also quit her job as like a lot of young Australian aged care nurses are, is a very hard industry to attempt to try and join. They were stuck across the border for over two months. She was hung up on when they rang to ask why she didn’t tell them she quit, returning a few weeks ago I found out this weekend she went off the dole never to go to another employment agent and her partner has promised to support her so now I have too also as I can’t make her beg for scraps off the government. I am a mentally ill single mother also. We will just watch everyone in town breed for money and support ourself and both try not to have suicidal thoughts together while I continue to pay the taxes I have always paid along with my whole family our whole lives and never catch a break.

Went out their way to make my life difficult by lying and deceitful practices. While I did everything Centrelink required me to do, they refused to recognise my efforts. Give them a wide berth.
