Stopped here for a quick snack - potato wedges with sour cream & sweet chili sauce. Tasty & seasoned well. The sweet chili had a little kick to it. They support locally made sodas from Bilson’s brewery.

Dined at Coffee Staines on the 30th of December, 2022.We ordered the bacon and cheese burgers, with a regular chips on the side. We also ordered a Billson’s creamy soda. All together was $42. We initially ordered the wedges but were told they didn’t have any. A bit disappointing at 1:00pm.The burger and chips were very nice. The patty was juicy and flavoursome. The chips were cooked well but arrived without salt. However, salt and pepper were available on the table. We asked for tomato sauce and received a small sachet, the one you usually receive with a sausage roll at a bakery. We were hoping for a bit more than that.The service was fine. Seating was adequate, not a heap of seating. The safer option would be calling up and reserving a table rather than walking in. The indoor area was clean and cosy. QR code ordering was available.Nothing on the menu stands out or differentiates from competitors. The only thing that may stand out for some is the roast rolls. However, we’re not huge fans of roasts. We probably wouldn’t return if we were to visit Beechworth again due to this.

We came here for breakfast on our last visit to Beechworth last July. Cute place with a simple menu.We ordered the smashed avo on sourdough and the scrambled eggs on sourdough with bacon on the side.Quick and friendly service, with good coffee.

Food are less then average, burger was look and taste fake, roast salad was wierd flavour. Egg and bacon on toast was good. Potato wedges was uncooked.and price was high for this type of food.

Holy cow!! The food here is absolutely amazing. Roast Lamb for me and Roast Pork for my wife.Neither of us could finish it, and had to ask for a doggy bag to take home.Great food. Awesome size servings and good value.We will be back.

A great cafe serving very good coffee and a perfect menu for travellers looking for a lunch. They do an all day breakfast as well.Well prepared food served with friendliness and fun.I know the bakery is famous but this is way better in so many ways.

Went there yesterday and we were greeted by a lovely big man who were very kind! Not only that he served us warmly, the food and coffee were superb! i forgot to take the pictures but please trust me, the snack pack was GREAT DELICIOUS! we tried the whole roasted chicken with fries too. How could you make such a good food?!Trust me. Gotta try them. Thanks for wonderful service and food!

Coffee Staines - Café and Catering
I purchased a lamb shank soup which as you can see from the photo was pretty much nothing more than a bowl of mushy noodles and one tiny little piece of lamb. I can't believe they charged me $15 for this and don't even tell you on their menu that it's basically 2 minute noodles. My partner ordered a small pot of tea which was $7 and had to wait longer for that then I did for my meal.
