It is such a good bike, overall simply a great assemble where all its components are well thought through.From the beginning, before the purchase, I had such great customer service from Dave himself, where I was properly assisted on choosing the right flavour, size and accessories I needed.The Grove RAD is a great deal and I highly recommend it. The design makes it ideal to ride in places like Sydney. It performs great on tarmac and shines on unpaved roads or the toughest terrains. Besides, I have no difficulty pushing uphill due to its great range of 11 speeds.Thank you, Grove and Dave, for this amazing product and value you offer to all of us, cyclist enthusiasts.

I recently purchased a Grove R.A.D from Dave and I could not be happier. The whole experience from initial discussion to purchase, build, deliver and ride was seamless. I was nervous to buy a gravel bike when I really wanted a roadie. But after talking to Dave I was happy with the purchase and have found I’m faster on the road than I have ever been and comfortable on the gravel which is where the fun really is. The flared bars are perfect, the geometry is sharp agile but still comfortable, in one week I just want to keep riding which is unreal! HIGHLY RECOMMEND boutique class and quality. Get involved!!!

I recently purchased a RAD and it's simply a fantastic and fun bike to ride. From my initial enquiry through to purchase, delivery and technical support the whole experience was just awesome. Dave answered all of my questions and made recommendations as well on the various options including sizing. When the bike arrived it was just a matter of dropping in the bars, installing the pedals and seatpost then fitting the front wheel. All the tools are provided and the instructions are super easy to follow. The provided torque wrench was a nice touch too. The bike is assembled and test ridden before shipping so you know that everything will be dialed in from the get go.Originally I was looking at road, gravel (steel) and CX bikes for my daily commute but when I came across the RAD it ticked many of those boxes and opened up all three styles of riding. With the extra tyre clearance you can mount some gravel tyres and go exploring on the weekend, or commute on the path less travelled if you are lucky enough to have some fire roads nearby. It really is a stunning bike up close with smooth welds and a very light and fast frame. There's some nice detail on the fork as well plus plenty of options for carrying gear.One of the dilemmas when purchasing is the tyre choice. If your budget can stretch a bit further I recommend opting for two wheelsets so you can cover commuting and tarmac duties with a road set, then back up on the weekends for some gravel fun on a 650b Gravel Plus setup. Basically you get two bikes in one package simply by changing out the wheels. I can keep pace with the roadies on my 32s and there is confident handling when going offroad by mounting the 48s.All in all, I'm super stoked with my purchase and if you're sitting on the fence like I was, get on a RAD already, you won't regret it. Support an Australian brand!

Love it! From the first test ride this bike has been FUN!. Great build quality, nice little details, sensible components and Dave could not have been more helpful.

My son and wife conspired to buy me a Grove RAD for my 60th birthday. I am normally very fussy about the tech that I use, but my son did his homework well and I could not be happier. The bike is light, fast, beautifully built and feels like a piece of precision equipment. My ride times to work (20km each way) are literally 10% faster, and every time I get on the bike I get a grin on my face. I have loved going back to riding on brakehoods (from a flat bar hybrid) and the bike is versatile enough to be my regular commuter now (with a rack and mudguards) and then a fun go-anywhere bike when I retire. In addition to the great hardware, the after sales support has been wonderful. Dave has been happy to answer my questions and also has even filmed videos of how to take apart the hub to help me. Superb. There are cheaper bikes out there, there are probably better bikes out there (Grove makes one of those as well!), but I don't think there are better bikes for the money. Thoroughly recommended.
