A beautiful atmosphere totally beach front. We have a large breakfast here and the coffees were great.. friendly fast service.

John, Paula, Lou & Jenny Le MiereMy wife and I, my brother and his wife decided to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in Cairns once again as we did 25 years ago. Arriving from New South Wales, we booked into a resort at Trinity Beach for a week.During that time, we visited a few venues but none of them could match the high-quality dining experience that “Chill At Portofino, Palm Cove had to offer. We had booked a few days prior to our celebration and spoke to the owner enquiring about the menu. We said that we particularly wanted a seafood platter and he said that he would look after us. He and his team certainly fulfilled our request plus more.We congratulate the owner of this fine dining establishment and his wonderful staff who went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that, all their guests are always greeted with decorum and respect. Every request was received with promptness and a smile.When we received our platters, we were pleasantly surprised. To enhance the evening the staff surprised us with an arrangement of tastefully decorated dessert platter. We compliment the chef and his assistants for this mouth-watering experience and its exquisite presentation.The recommendation from the staff for our cocktails was also fantastic.We have no hesitation in expressing our feelings to describe how special it made this momentous occasion for us. It did bring out the WOW factor.The whole evening and the ambiance were so relaxing that we enjoyed every bit from our plates and the friendly attitudes from all the staff who greeted us hospitably and with courtesy. They managed their time well and were extremely well organised.We have already informed our friends about our pleasurable and enchanting evening with the hope that, they also will visit this fantastic restaurant during their visit to Cairns.We loved it so much that we have already rebooked for another evening before our return to Sydney NSW.

Great spot on the corner across the road from the beach. We popped in for some drinks, the staff were very friendly and only too happy to please! Spacious and a great spot to people watch! Worth a stop and next time we'll eat here.*Back again and this place didn't dissapoint. The staff are friendly and hapyy to assist. They're open late afternoons when many other places close between lunch and dinner service so give them a go! We stopped for some light snacks, drinks and coffee and it was all as expected.

This place looks like it has been there for over 40 years and it has been added onto along the way. Keeping with the feel and laid back atmosphere of Palm Cove. The rusty chain and overgrown plants along the front could do with removal and a tidy up. The place does feel dirty and worn out. The food was okay and the pizzas looked fine. Overall the place is nice but probably really needing a complete gutting and refresh.

Chill is my favourite spot to catch up & have breakfast with my girlfriends. Food is always great & and coffee is too & being across the road from the beach is lovely to have a walk after to burn the big breakfasts off.

Nice spot at Palm Cove overlooking water. The food could have been better. Meals were only average, considering the $ paid.$75 for some tacos and fish (looked like fish cocktails) and chips.

Just went past for breakfast which ends at 11.30, looks like the menu price has changed a little compared the previous photos attached In reviews.I did find it a little pricey for what you got, however the food overall was okay.There is no air conditioning if that is a must for you, however it did not bother us.Staff where friendly, our order came out in good time. They did however make a mistake with the order but it was rectified straight away.

Good ambience and friendly service. The waiters were helpful and polite. But the food was disappointing. Considering each main/pasta/salad is $30-50, my expectation was higher than what was served. We didn't try the pizza but what we ordered wasn't worth the money.

Based on location and the incredible view, you can’t go wrong.It’s always quite busy, I came just before the dinner rush so my meal was brought quickly.I had the calamari which was clearly freshly made, but a smaller portion could be made. Would say overall high, tourist prices.

Had a beautiful Eggs Benny for our birthday breakfast celebrations! Staff were polite, food was quick and tasted great! Just wish there was a little more on our plates for what we ordered but otherwise we will be back!
