Spurs, Mt Buller

We have been coming to Mt buller for years and we love the face liftFood is fantastic, staff are incredibly attentive and accommodating. Always greeted with a friendly face and the service is super quick. Limited seats but worth the wait when you snag one. Thank you team SPURS

Super inconsistent, one day it's OK the next there is no staff, filthy tables and overflowing bins. Never know if the kitchen will be serving, no rhyme or reason to when it's open, as basic as Spurs was before the revamp, at least you could get a meal. Too much gone into trying to create a vibe instead of customer service and good food. Some staff in restaurant section show complete contempt for customers, especially the day trippers. Cafe is good but today the line is 20 deep and only 2 staff trying to deal with the rush.

The team at Spurs are so friendly and helpful! Steph helped us plan a special lunch as part of a festival that we were hosting at Mt Buller. The team is professional and diligent. Most importantly, the food was delicious and helped to create such a beautiful atmosphere for our event. Head chef Aaron was lovely and knowledgable and created an awesome experience for all of the attendees. Thank you Spurs team!

Best party place to hang out in snow

Worst restaurant we've set foot in.After waiting about 30 minutes in line for a table, we were told that a table would be available soon by the female staff at the entrance (later we found out she was the restaurant manager). 15 minutes later, we enquired how long we would have to wait as there was obviously some tables that were free. The manager got upset and said that we were rude, even telling us that she didn’t need customers like us in here (we were a group of 9 including small children).When I wanted to make a complaint, I was told to speak to another manager behind the bar. He told me whatever his staff had said to us, she must have been right as she runs the restaurant and decides who gets a table.We were appalled by the rudeness of the staff and the non existent customer service.Do not spend your money in this place as it’s not worth it.

Best on mountain! Lunch venue that offers authentic, freshly smoked meats in their massive, on site, Iron Maiden smoker! Vego options too, just ask! Kitchen is 11-2 but they have a cafe offering in a separate section of the venue that offers food and booze too. Highly recommend the beef brisket and Mac and cheese.. heaven is a place on mountainWeather permitting, they flip to an après bar with DJs on the deck from 3 until sunset. Grab yourself a “Waterboy” cocktail, you won’t regret it ;)

Amazing views, lovely staff, and tasty food. We all had the baked sweet potato and baked beans, which were great. Only downside was that it came out a little cold, but we didn't mind. So happy to find that there were vegan options available on the mountain!

Very overpriced, terrible quality food and rude staff. There was obviously a decision from upper management to offer the cheapest, lowest quality food for the highest possible prices they could get away with. Total rip off

Amazing venue with the best views on the mountain! Recommend the beef brisket, sweet potato and the potato tots! Staff were very helpful. The cocktails were yummy too and only $14 at happy hour! Loved the water boy! Thanks spurs

Great, convenient place for lunch and a rest stop after skiing. The meat shared platter is an excellent choice for couples or families. Would definitely return!
