Beautiful drive, about 150 kl.s nth Townsville. Quiet a few small waterfalls on the side of the road then when you come up to an old stone bridge, you see the main waterfall.

Very picturesque waterfalls and bridge. You can also swim here, though the water is very cold. Crystal clear though!

Definitely a place to visit, bitumen road up to the picnic area, safe for cars and 4x4, campers etc, probably a bit windy for a caravan. Gets quite busy, so get in early if you want pics of the falls without random people in them.

Fantastic water holes to swim in. Cation is needed. Any water course in Australia can change quickly, the cemetery holds the proof. I would recommend the trip and enjoy the fantastic waterfalls and the swimming spots.
