We built with H&L Victoria recently and we were impressed with the service, speed and quality construction.Luke from H&L Victoria was our sales consultant. He was amazing at following up our requests and drawing out plans to suit our need. His friendliness and honesty is an asset to any company.The build was smooth and we were given a wide range of high quality products without the need for upgrades. Mind you, that we are building an investment house and sticking to a budget is a priority.We arrange our own building inspection and there are no major defect on the house. The inspector conclude that the house was build properly and he rated the build to be one of the best as compared to other budget builders.We bought a turnkey 22sq house package and they do delivered everything as promised.Thank you Luke and please extent my appreciation to those involved with the build.

As a first home buyer I chose H&L Victoria as I was impressed with their fully inclusive turnkey packages and up-front pricing. Luke showed me through one of their houses with standard inclusions so I knew exactly what I was receiving for my money. After discussing my plans with Luke, he was happy to make some small changes to improve my house and make sure it suited my needs. Throughout the process Luke provided easy to understand information and I felt confident that my house would meet my expectations.I was so impressed with my new home that I have since recommended H&L Victoria to my friends.

We got our first home as a turn key project and everything that was promised by H&L was delivered. We were happy with the outcome.Matt was great ! He introduced us to a bunch of great guys who helped us with our first home. He made sure that all the issues, that were raised from start till end, were resolved in a smooth fashion. He guided us well with various processes involved in our journey.I would highly recommend Matthew Gauci from H&L.

From the first meeting with Pete at the display home in Truganina. I felt ease and his experience and ability to build rapport was astounding. His honesty and passion for homes was apparent from the start. He guided me completely based on my needs and budget and gave complete Turnkey Package with a very good customised plan.The build process was very smooth throughout all the stages and they sent me regular weekly updates on the construction till the handover.H & L Customer service was excellent. Their Build quality was at high standards. I have had the easiest, stress free and most enjoyable time working with H & L and Pete has been amazing with guiding me throughout the complete process.100% recommend H & L Victoria to First Home Buyers and Investors.

I highly recommend the team of H&L and Escape homes. I am very happy with the house delivered from plan to build. I would like to convey a heartfelt thanks to Matt for all his help from making changes to the plan to suit my needs and budget. He has always showed up in a very professional yet friendly manner and very patiently answered my queries from the start to handover. Although there was a bit of wait with the land getting registered, Vince and his team picked up the work soon after and have now handed over a beautiful house that I am proud to call my new home. I was searching for a builder for my first home and was recommended H&L Victoria.So, I arranged a consultation, after meeting with Lyle from the Ashbury office I knew I had found the right builder. I was impressed with Lyle's upfront honest approach, professionalism and genuine interest in helping me achieve my goal while working within my budget.We were working with a unique block size and found Lyle to be very accommodating in customising a floor plan that both suited my lifestyle and block.Extremely excited to see our plans come to life.

AVOID THEM AT ALL COST!!!H&L Victoria is not a building company, they only do sales for builders, but they won’t let you know from the onset!!! they will passover your house to a wholesale builder and they get their percentage out of your build, then they are out of the picture.You will be left with a third party builder who you don’t have any relationship with. Most of the times this third party builder will not even know your needs. Your contract with be signed with this builder and H&L will not have any control on your build.In the Initial stages with planning and design they very nice but after you signing the contract that it! They disappear!!! When you have problems with the builder, they will distance themselves and refer you to deal with builder ( with mine it has been Escape Home)Escape home is another story I need a whole year tell, they are full of lies and super unprofessional both building delivery and customer support.Don’t let them lead you to a dead end like they have done to me, It has been almost 20 months and me house is still not complete. I signed my contract in december 2020You are better of building with a bigger company that have their sales, design and construction under one roof…..

Dan from H&L was a pleasure to deal with, he really was, but I can’t recommend them with a clear conscience. They do all the ground work and the experience is incredible….. until…..they hand you over to a builder like Escape Homes who are an absolute nightmare to deal with. My house (small 130m2 single storey) has been on site since April 2021 and is only just near completion (mid August 2022) I’ve had 3 supervisors in that time, waited 7 months for timber, and since the frame was up we’ve still been on site for 8 months since that time, all while only receiving fortnightly “updates” that barely have any information in them.Overall I think it’s a bit deceitful, which is a shame because H&L are really great to deal with.

The sales consultant (Kelly Silm) at H & L Victoria was very approachable and knowledgeable. She gave us the time and bandwidth to decide what we want and was happy to go backward and forward multiple times to accomodate our requestes with the plans. Kelly's suggestions were very valuable and she called out where she saw issues with what we were doing, and how that could impact the overall picture. That helped us a lot in adjusting and coming back on track where we needed to, to make sure the theme of our house remained intact.We signed up a 'turn-key' package for our Investment property. I must say the standard inclusions were super impressive and exceeded our expectation.Apart from a lenghty delay with pre-construction work, the rest of the journey was fairly smooth given the circumstances. The build was completed by 3D Constructions. My supervisior and builder Danny Velvevski and Natasha were amaizing and provided us regular updates. Danny's attention to detail is second to none. We are super impressed with the workmanship of the trades engaged and extremely happy to see the final result.Thank you Kelly, Danny and Natasha for being part of our wonderful journey.I strongly recommend H & L Vicotria to anyone wanting to build.
