Open Sky Psychology

I have been seeing Mat on and off for over 2 years when needed. He is an excellent Clin Psych and I would recommend him to others across many different issues/diagnoses. Margo is also brilliant and I came to the clinic after reading one of her books.

This review is solely for Mercedes Moreno, and I do not wish to discredit the institution or other psychologists, as I have heard good reviews about them. Our first session was decent, she listened to my issues, though didnt provide much in the way of support or coping strategies. I assumed she would provide more indepth assistance in our next session. Whilst I admit that I did not respond to the confirmatory email, and for that I do not blame her, she was incredibly insulting on the phone to me. For one, she had no recollection as to why I had seen her the previous week, evidence being she believed I was unemployed. Her exact words being: you are unemployed aren't you. Which, had she paid attention to the previous week at all, she would have known that was not the case, given I was seeing her regarding my occupation. She then went on to insinuate that I would not be able to afford her. Going to the extent of reading out the documents regarding bulk billing and how I was not eligible. I had given her no indication that I could not afford her, and it was very insulting. Had she had any concerns she could have briefly mentioned it, not gone into detail for 5 minutes, if not more. Especially after I immediately said payment was not a problem. She obviously has a superiority complex. However, the worst thing of all was her not recollecting any details from our one hour session. I can understand finding that difficult, given how many clients she must see. However, as a health practitioner myself, I say that is no excuse at all. She clearly has no care or passion for her job, or her clients, and is solely focused on money.

I have worked with Margo and her practice in a professional capacity for several years. Margo has a wonderfully warm and kind nature, as does the team working with her. The space is comforting as soon as you walk in - would recommend to anyone seeking help for the first time or looking for a new mental health professional.

I have a relative who has been involved with this company and the discrete and sensitive professionalism and excellent results have given my family great peace and true growth. Thank you Open Sky. I strongly recommend this office especially if you have not used the services of a professional psychologist before

The team at Open Sky Psychology have been terrific to work with over the years and I highly recommend them to others. The practice is modern, private and comfortable and whenever I call I always get a friendly welcome.
