Wasted significant time and effort working with the company to get a shed designed, only to have to cancel the contract since they were unable to get the building surveyor to get a building permit application in. They wanted planning documents updated at a cost of hundreds of dollars to include features that the council planners told me had no relevance to planning, and were only for building permits.Switched to another shed manufacturer and gave them exactly the same information that I had previously given to B&G, and had the permit application submitted in a week, and issued in two weeks.The salesman also lied to me to get me to pay my deposit before Christmas 2021 telling me that I was locking in a kit price, only to have him back out and charge me more.They also took over a month to refund what was left of my deposit after they deducted a bunch of fees for services that were never delivered.Do not bother with these guys if you actually want a shed built, there are so many other companies out there.

From the first phone call with Dennis I knew B & G were going to be our guys. Knowledgeable and super-responsive, Dennis handled all the difficult curve balls we threw at him with patience and good humour and took everything in his stride. The whole team was fantastic, and made us look good as owner-builders (we didn't have a clue what we were doing but they held our hands the whole way). 6 out of 5 stars!

I came to B&G after having a terrible experience with another shed company. It would be fair to say I was feeling skeptical at the time given my previous experience with the other company but Dennis at B&G was fantastic from the start he took over the council approval process, he was transparent and a great communicator. He got me what I wanted with the budget I had and gave me great flexibility to adapt things based on my questions and his experience. Delivery was a little slower than I anticipated but that was a colorbond manufacturing factor. Given it was during the lockdowns and staff shortages the wait time for delivery was still reasonable. The installers were also great. The builder kept me updated on any issues they came across and discussed them with me and they resolved any issues quickly.The shed parts are great quality and it was a quality build. My concreter and electrician were both impressed with the shed quality and they have seen a few sheds. Dennis and the builder even helped me to engineer the shed to put a basketball backboard on at no additional cost! Would I recommend B&G sheds? Absolutely. Dennis isn't a fast talking or ego stroking salesperson you might get elsewhere. He is efficient, hardworking and stands by the quality of his product. He was always super quick to respond to emails even after the contract was signed and the deposit paid. I felt confident through the entire process and have ended up with a great shed that I have no regrets about. Is there anything would have done differently? No, other than to have gone with B&G Sheds from the outset.

Design process was straight forward. Cost seemed like good value to me.Had some errors with the delivered kit because the design details had not been checked, but the errors were quickly sorted and new parts delivered without delay.Mark, the installer, was an excellent tradesman and turned up every day at the time he said he would, and left the work area clean and tidy.

We had an overall good experience with B&G. The quality of the materials was good but I was disappointed that the construction plans were generic. Ie for a shed not for this specific build. It did make work as an owner builder harder than it needed to be. That said any problems were addressed very promptly and without complaint.So bottom line is that I can recommend them but consider having them build it rather than trying it for your self.

No issues with the quality of the shed or the build. Were excellent in the customisation of my shed and free quotes when building the shed.Concreter they used for me was excellent but you will most likely incur extra charges if your site is not 100% prepared to what is stated in the contract.Shed builder's themselves are subcontractors and were efficient and communicated well.2 stars were lost as the communication throughout the process could be better and really had to chase to get things done. Emails wouldn't receive a reply and was able to get things moving quicker with a few phone calls. Contract stated from permits being granted, it would be a 8-12 week process to completion. Had I not contacted them and hassled a bit, it wouldn't have taken nearly 32 weeks. Managed to get it done in about 24 weeks Do be aware that these are done as an owner/builder arrangement so you will need to have a white card. Permit process can take a while too but that's due to councils etc.Prices were competitive.

I had a shed installed by Dennis's installers. Quality was below acceptable which they were meant to rectify. I climbed on my roof to clean the gutters and the sheets are so far out of square i cant get a hand or device to clean the gutters. some sheets are so short the insulation is visible. Only 2 screws in the roof flashing. Water runs in the opposite direction to the downpipe.Watch the video.Tried calling and emailing but no reply.

I went owner builder for the project.B&G Sheds arranged and completed everything from planning and building petmits with local council concrete, supply of kit and final build.Could not be happier with the finished product and B&G sheds service.
