Micawber Tavern
Had dinner with my friend on Thursday night and it was Taco Night! Blue Cheese Chicken Taco and a Pulled Port little scrumptious wonder - Delicious! Loved the atmosphere, people playing pool, catching up and having a good time. Will def' go back

Great vibe. Live music. Awesome food.We went on a Monday. Food service starts at 5pm. So we sat down and order beer on tap. Guiness Beer for the win. The Buffalo Chicken Wings and Mussels the wifey swear it's delicious. The Pork Ribs was out of this world. This a must try if you are in the Dandenong area.

Lovely pub with an great selection of drinks and food set in a beautiful location. Nice selection of craft beers, and has Guinness and Kilkenny on tap.

Hadn’t been since refurb.Disappointed. Last visit 3 years ago. First time over 25 years ago. Definitely last. Nice Reno but not with the food.Parma was defrosted and overcooked, tired and dry and served warm not hot.Chips dry and overcooked and small. Plus Parma at $29.50 it’s not worth it. Staff don’t care and aren’t that friendly. Put some love into the food not just the decor.I might add l told tell the gentleman manager in person about the feedback but he really just listened and said he would just pass on. But no care really just looked uncomfortable listening to me.

I had a great time at Micawber Tavern! The atmosphere was enjoyable, with live music adding to the experience. The food was good, fitting the tavern style with satisfying options. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, it's a recommended spot for a night out.

Recent renovations have definitely improved the atmosphere. Highly recommend making a booking for outside on a nice day. Lovely and cool by the creek that runs past. Food is pretty average but there are a few options of different dietary requirements, but it's still typical pub fare. Service was very slow and waited about an hour for food and drinks. Inside is a Tudor pub pretty dark and dingy definitely better in wintertime.

Went here with my husband after a hike. The trail finished at the Micawber Tavern which was very convenient. We had some drinks & dinner. Staff were friendly, food & drinks were delicious & ambience was 10/10. We were lucky enough to even get a courtesy bus back to our accommodation. Highly recommend & defiantly will be going back.

This place is amazing, the waitress was so lovely, my partner is ceoliac and she was so good with his dietary requirements. Most of the menu is Gluten Free or can be made Gluten Free and it was the best meal we have had in a very long time. Service was impeccable, food came out quickly considering they were very busy. We really enjoyed the food, service and ambience, we will definitely be back.

Came here for an event and the two stars are purely for the drinks on tap. If I didn’t have to drive 8 years to get here, it might be an okayish local pub. Do not come here for live music. The drums overshadowed everything. It was just hearing an average drummer showing off that he could follow 4:4 time and every musicians first drum solo. The food. The wings were cooked, so I’m not going to die tonight at least.
