Love love love going to Artistry on the Strand. Not only does Josephine really know her craft (cutting, colouring and styling) but she knows how to make blonde blonde not orange or green!!! Josephine is always on time, friendly and always up for a laugh A good time and good hair what more can we ask for !!!!

Josephine from Artistry Hair is a fantastic hairdresser! At first I thought maybe it was a run of the mill salon but Iv'e had the best short hair cuts and colours done. Josephine is friendly but not too over the top. She really listens to her customers and gauges what they are after. This salon is incredibly affordable too.

Me and my 5yo daughter are lucky to have found this hair salon. Josephine is excellent! gentle and friendly without being too over the top. The salon is clean, prices are affordable, environment is relaxing and Josephine’s attitude is always accommodating

I booked in at Artistry Hair on the strand after reading positive reviews on a local forum.I booked a cut for my 7 year old son.I was unpleasantly surprised. Rude unfriendly staff, no one greeted us as we walked in the door. No one helped me open the split door to help get my pram in (which is fine, I got it sorted... But it would have been nice for a place that has all these reviews about being great for kids).Seemed to blame me for their running late because I arrived about 3 minutes after my son's appointment time, hence that somehow justified me having to wait until 25 minutes after my appointment time before commencing the cut.I asked if she'd put someone in ahead of me and she said 'no, but it's Saturday' (which didn't make sense to me as I'd booked the appointment 2 weeks ago).Maybe they can't tell the time on Saturday's? I'm not sure what this had to do with anything.Anyway, I didn't feel this was child friendly at all and certainly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you want to feel like you've accidentally walked into an over 18s club with your kids.

Josephine is a superstar when working on my kids hair. As any toddler who gets easily distracted; or changes emotions at the drop of a hat, she always finishes with a clean handsome hair cut for my son.No fancy gizmo's or cars at this place - we tried those places already, and they were a fail. Nope all she has is a lovely demeanour and a quiet electric razor!
