Did this yesterday. Mean as 360 views. If you don’t like heights give it a miss. Worth the bush bash off track.

An incredible hike which I've now attempted from both the Mudgeeraba & Springbrook sides. If you're attempting from the Mudgeeraba side then head to the end of Austinville Road and you'll notice a small car park just before the private property signs. Note: It's very quiet here so I'd be careful with leaving valuables in the car.Head up the very steep 'Fairview Mt' fire trail until you reach a junction at the peak. Head South off the fire trail onto a very faintly trodden trail along the Nimmel Range until you reach the first rocky outcrop.A great place to take in the view as the view from the Pinnacle isn't as great unless you're prepare to scale the northern cliff face which I attempted unsuccessfully. The climb from the Northern side requires a combination of climbing & scrambling. There are some areas where the trail disappears between the first rocky outcrop and the pinnacle so do be mindful and maintain a slight incline to ensure you're on track. If you're attempting from Springbrook then a great starting place is the Tanninaba Falls car park. Head North along the Warringa Pool circuit until you reach the second hairpin before the track heads downhill & to the west. It's difficult to find the track from here but after 5-10m you'll see a faint trodden path made out only by depression in the leaf litter. It's then only a 30 minute walk over the first saddle and back on the South side of the Nimmel Range.Once you reach the Pinnacle it's a much easier climb to the top then from the North side. Take in the views and be sure to head back to the car park via the Twin Falls for a well earned swim. One of my top 3 hikes on the Gold Coast due to minimal crowd numbers and breathtaking scenery. My advice is to pack a GPS for this one as it can be very easy to get lost if you're not sure what you're doing.

Not a difficult climb if you have scrambling experience but some areas are quite exposed. Long pants or gaiters would make the walk between the worrie circuit and the pinnacle more comfortable.
