Art & Wine Co. Byron Bay

We are in Byron for our honeymoon and booked a session through the week of our stay. We have never done this before so thought we'd give it a go! Julia was our assigned art coordinator for 8th September, Koi Fish painting session. She was great, allowed for a chilled out session, and gave perfect insight to our art and direction where to go with it. We had a fun time along with the others involved, time flew by quick before we knew it 3 hours - over! Thank you so much for this night, absolutely recommend!Sebastian and Elizabeth

It was a wonderful first time experience using clay! I loved Tefi’s patience when explaining everything and how relaxing it was. Music was spot on and I can’t wait to have my final creations with me! Also the art pieces around are very inspiring. Would absolutely recommend.

The clay instructor seemed very disinterested and at times rude.But more importantly, when my clay pieces arrived they were smashed up in the post. Only a single piece of bubble wrap had been used to secure both pieces. When I opened the box it was obvious that the mugs had not been wrapped at all with the bubble wrap and nothing else was done to prevent them from breaking.I’ve ordered so many things online and I’ve never received anything broken before. The carelessness with which they handled our work was obvious.

We loved the atmosphere, the live music from Sunday Lemonade and the beautiful people we met while painting the moon wave. Great experience and fun event to share with your beloved ones or with your work crew. We were all incredibly proud about our finished artwork and impressed with a clear and straightforward approach to conquer this creative challenge. Jana, the artist of the night, was patient and had a remarkable eye for details and supported the entire gang during the journey. Thanks, Zenardia and James for this unique event. The Four Dunk Parrots loved it.

Loved the session. My boyfriend and I had fantastic fun and learned so much as well. Oceana is a great teacher and a very skilled artist. Even with a small class it was great fun. The studio also had amazing art and a great chill/break balcony to enjoy your drinks and have a chat.Highly recommend!

We held a private work Paint and Sip event at Art and Wine Co and it was absolutely wonderful, the whole team had the best time. Leading up to the event Jason was absolutely amazing, he allowed us to pick our painting and he went above and beyond to accommodate two of our online staff and arranged to have painting packs sent to them and set up zoom so that they could participate and he was there on the night to greet us. Our artist on the night was Oceania and she was so lovely, polite, friendly and helpful and above all always ensured we were having fun and enjoying ourselves and always ensured that our online participants were included and could easily follow along.I would highly recommend Art and Wine co to anyone looking for a fun team night.

I recently hosted a private birthday party for my daughter at the Art &wine co. BYRON BAY. This was a wonderful event fully hosted by an artist. She was polite, friendly and wonderful with the kids. The owner was really responsive leading upto the event and my daughter was able to choose her canvas painting of choice for the day. The venue is a funky art space right in the heart of the town. And the parents were also able to sit back and relax on the retro lounges or on the deck overlooking the street whilst the kids created their art work. The host also offered facepainting as a special touch for the event. We were able to cater the event or bring in catered food also. I highly rate this venue for a kids birthday party and i received wonderful feed back from the parents and kids.

Steph was an amazing host, our experience was above my expectations she was lovely friendly and helpful. We had so much fun getting creative..

Overall, it was ok but at the end of the session I was almost obliged to take the canvas, I had to insist to leave it as I’m travelling and have no space for it.It should be clear in the terms and conditions that you have to take the canvas and frame with you. I didn’t know it would be like that.
