Mette's Institute

I did my Level 1, 2 & 3 with Mette back in 2004, and the training has been an essential part of developing a successful massage career and business. Over the years I have suggested to many therapists to take at least those trainings if they want to learn an incredible treatment that can really influence their massage for years to come. The Kahuna training allowed me to learn how to use my elbows and forearms very effectively, saving my hands. It is deeply relaxing and when I eventually did my Remedial training I realised that there were techniques in Kahuna that were similar to Remedial, even if they were called something else. Mette is a fantastic teacher. She has developed courses that not only create great therapists but also allow you to grow as a person. She and her team are passionate and dedicated. I'm very grateful I got to learn from her, and look forward to doing some refresher courses soon. No matter whether you are starting out in your career or want to add more skills I strongly encourage you to learn with Mette and her team. You won't look back :)

I had already completed two Lomi Lomi trainings in Switzerland when I heard about the good reputation of Mette's institute. I especially flew to Australia to expand my knowledge. I completed levels 1&2,3 at that time. As an independent practitioner in Switzerland, I can only recommend to every person to complete at least these levels at Mette‘s Institute. You get excellent techniques embedded in a profound spiritual training. It is a transformation for body-mind-soul. Recently completed the Level 1 & 2 Kahuna Training and had the most profound spiritual experience of my life on the final day. I am grateful to Anastasia, who was a therapist in training for being the medium for that experience and to Mette and her fabulous team, Neikah, Lorin, Julian and Suellen, all of whom contributed to it over the week with their amazing energy, kindness and exercises that helped me release stuff and having that awesome experience. I did levels 1,2 & 3 with Mette and the high spirits team in early 2021, you learn so much more than just a massage technique, I can honestly say my time there was one of the most beautiful and transformative experiences of my life, cannot recommend highly enough!
