Finally, Australia has now, not just a setting school, but a high-end setting school that not only covers the basics but extends beyond that to help and improve even experienced setters looking to take their work to the next level for those close-up social media and website photos. I highly recommend Stephen and his courses as they are well thought out, set out and take into consideration the working jeweller and the time involved. His advice and website are second to none. From making tools to the online tutorials with detailed videos as well as the zoom classes he has covered it all in extra detail. Having done other setting courses, I can honestly say Stephen is the best! I will definitely be back for all his classes.

I too would like to recommend Stephen and his setting courses.Completing this online course hosted by Stephen really takes any questions out of the process of setting. You’ll know what you’re doing, with repetition and practice (which you do both with the course and once complete). If you still have any questions, he does his utmost to answer them succinctly. The other reviews prior to mine are 100% correct. But I wanted to say that Stephen’s approach to teaching and helping you learn is second to none, and that he teaches all skill levels with a friendly atmosphere. I will continue to attend his courses, both in person and online, to refine my techniques of setting. I very much appreciate the time and dedication he has spent to create this learning platform to be so easy to use. Thank you again!

Just completed my first online course with Stephen from Standout and it was exactly what I was hoping for. I wanted to strip back the setting process to its basics with the hope of achieving the highest quality setting possible for my work. Stephen shares his knowledge clearly and gives you all of the steps needed to replicate high quality setting over and over again. I wouldn’t go into a course thinking he has a magic wand to make it happen overnight, but he gives you everything you need to put in the practice and achieve. Can’t wait for the next course.
