Amenities CleanWe had site 50 which was great and easy to access, sadly though the birds above the van covered it in bird poo.The staff on reception friendlyThe look out is easily accessibleThe free Bush Yarns, Didgeridoo and Bush Food Talks are fantastic. The 20 minute free shuttle also well located.

Lucky we are self sufficient in our van, however there's no dump point on site at the park, and the amenities were absolutely filthy!!! Disgusting toilets that made me sick. Also couldn't use the washing machines in our area as they were disgustingly filthy also. Pretty disappointing. Unfortunately it's more of a reflection on selfish, putrid travellers.

Very large campground with comprehensive and well looked after amenity blocks. Make sure you book if you want a good site otherwise you will be one of those unhappy campers in the overflow area. Had some visits from long tail dunnarts (small native insect eating marsupial). Also saw some rabbits running round the tent camping area.

BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER!We paid $61 a night for basically a parking space… we are in a rooftop tent and sandwiched in between cars either side of us. We asked to park in the ‘tent’ area for $45 but told we weren’t allowed as our tent couldn’t be moved off our vehicle, however, we saw other people doing the same thing. The grass area behind our site says ‘no camping’ however is full of tents… while the designated tent areas are mostly empty? In the women’s bathroom some showers don’t seem to get hot water.I’m the men’s bathroom both urinals were overflowing and the men had to walk through piss to enter and exit the bathrooms. The bbqs around the campground don’t seem to work, however some do near the camp kitchen. The only positive we could mention is the camp kitchen is excellent. When we went to staff with complaints and asked to move to the cheaper area that others were in we were told we could move there but wouldn’t be getting a refund. Most expensive caravan park we have stayed in and the worst amenities/camp sites we have experienced. Unfortunately it’s the ONLY campground near Uluṟu.

Comparatively expensive compared to everything else but you don't really have a choice. The sites towards the back of the park (where we've stayed twice) allow you to listen to the town's generators 24/7. Staff there are pretty good and helpful. Booking in by phone is a challenge.

Caravan area nice and spacious. Facilities clean but could do with another laundry for this many people and two machines were out of order.Staff unfriendly and disinterested. We were given site instructions and camp regulations so fast it was like a recording.

Great if you love the sound of massive power generators wherring all night, being packed in like sardines, and showers that go from warm to scalding hot randomly.I wish I had saved the $s and camped at one of the free camping sites nearby. It would have been a better experience.

Amazing! Very accommodating on such short notice, will definitely be staying here when I’m next up here. Only down side is the disabled toilet was broken (where I changed my baby) door wouldn’t lock and no where else close by to change her. The showers had mould / dirt pushed right up into the corner & the toilets weren’t restocked ie: out of toilet paper in most cubicles, paper towel etc. We were told off for apparently speeding in the park when we were just rolling speed going like 10ks I get that the car is loud but wow!

The best thing about this campground is its location, which is great and followed closely by its shower and toilet facilities, they were impressive. My group wasn’t overall impressed though because when we arrived, the receptionist couldn’t explain how to find our campground and we couldn’t find it either.Funny enough one other person who got the same campsite arrived at the same time as us and also couldn’t find the number. We were moved to a campsite we could find but now we were very far away from a power box that we had to share with several other caravans. I’m thankful to the community for their hospitality with me using the power box, however after paying for a powered campsite it would have been nice to have a power box of our own.Additionally, when we arrived we were surprised to find that there were no official acceptable designated areas to have a campfire—all four of us felt like that’s something lacking in the site. The provided BBQ didn’t have gas so luckily we didn’t have to rely on that either. If you’re on your way here don’t expect it to really be much different to the much cheaper campsites on the way.I found the facilities were better in Marla than at this site—and also the locals knew more. We asked the receptionist about some things to do nearby and she had no clue about anything and suggested we use a search engine.I guess you pay for the location.

Great facilities, clean toilets and showers. Staff did a great job at explaining all the paperwork and necessary info. We had a powered site which was great. Over the duration of our stay there were 3 other groups on our lawn that also booked powered sites. this would not be a problem if the powerpoint was in a more central location. I would suggest bringing a really long extension cord if you do book a powered site here.
