Maloney's Property

Good service during a basic property transaction when I purchased a property through them. Before that I was a tenant with them for about 5 years. Their property managers, Marion and Vickii were always pleasant, helpful and attentive to maintenance requests. And I was lucky to have good owners. However, the choice of some tradespeople performing maintenance could have been better. And there is always room for improvement in not being too overbearing as an advocate for the owner.

Have been working with Marion at Maloney's for over 5 years. I find Marion incredible professional and really responsive all the time. I highly recommend Marion.

I cannot fault the service provided by both Peter Maloney and Jasmin Owen. Peter was kind enough to allow us to inspect a property privately and on his (rare) day off. I do not live in Canberra and am unable to attend open houses. Peter took considerable time with our inspection, he answered all my questions and did not rush me. He was both polite and understanding to my situation. Jasmin has been excellent with her on-going contact and has answered my emails timely and professionally. She has explained the process at each point in the purchase and is always open to any questions I may have or any needs I have. They are a great team! Thank you.

Moira Maloney provided us with professional and reliable service throughout our property purchase experience. What impressed us particularly was the fact that her assistance didn’t end at settlement. Even though there was no further financial benefit to her, she was always available to answer questions, suggest local tradespeople and legal help and give local advice. As we were trying to organise things from Sydney, we genuinely appreciated the way she went above and beyond.

Rented an apartment in the city for about 15 months. They were always respectful when organising inspections, giving me plenty of notice. Also very prompt with any maintenance requests and the trades people were all great and friendly. Very fair and reasonable with the condition report and exit inspection. Made the entire experience easy and stress free.

I have recently rented an apartment in Turner through Maloney's Property. Angela Cross, the Leasing Manager and her staff were very helpful in open house up to three time a week. This resulted the apartment was rented within 3 weeks in a very difficult market. Christina Baker who coordinated the end of lease inspection was also very helpful for a smooth transition.

Not a good experience at all. Staff did not know what they were doing, management did not care, outcomes (on two overlapping arrangements) were extremely poor. When courteously challenged staff responded with aggression and deception. Truly ridiculously candid camera style dreadful series of events, but it was no joke. Will avoid Maloney’s completely in future.PS Now having read so many other one star reviews here and read Peter Maloney’s lame responses I will add that we did email him directly to attempt to get resolutions to our ongoing and increasing problems and he did not respond at all.There are plenty of other Agents and Agencies in ACT, who are honest, courteous, know how to do their jobs, know the laws, and know they must fairly and appropriately represent both parties to a real estate arrangement. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND RESOURCES WITH THIS SHONKY BUNCH. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND RUN!

I have been using Maloney's Property for management of a rental property for several years now and have always been very happy with their fast, efficient and professional service. Recently purchased a new property through Maloney and they offered fantastic service all the way up until sale. Philip Kouvelis was excellent to deal with throughout in the sale and offered sound advice while be straight forward and honest.
