First time at Smile Dentistry and I must say hands down this has been the best experience I've ever been. I'm the type of person that has claustrophobia and can get anxious in any Dentist clinics. Smile Dentistry isn't your typical place to be - they value every customer that walks through their doors. I was greeted with warmth and welcoming acknowledgments. Chanel & Herbert are absolute gems! they made sure I was comfortable at all times especially with every step that Chanel does and they both provided me with above and beyond services and expertise. Every staff member here are beautiful people. This isn't any ordinary team they were more of one big family which made me feel comfortable. I can now tell myself that I'm no longer scared and DEFINITELY will be back for my next appointment ! Recommend them both again ! Thank you once again Smile Dentistry you've placed another SMILE into this world !

The team at smile dentistry are great, and Christina is absolutely fantastic! Been coming here since I was a kid, and Christina’s years of experience and knowledge has kept my teeth in pristine condition. Excellent at preventative care and incredibly thorough. Could not recommend highly enough!

I met Chanel the other day who did an amazing job on my teeth. She made me feel really comfortable, answered all my questions and gave me lots of information on how I can improve my smile in an affordable way. I left feeling really happy and with much cleaner and whiter teeth. Thanks Chanel and all at Smile!

I was extremely nervous to visit a dentist since I haven’t been in many years. I was treated by Chanel, she was very articulate and exceptional with everything she did. Her work speaks wonders, she’s very time efficient and caring for my dental needs. Everything pain free. I would only recommend my family and friends here to see her.

Glam smile veneers are the best ever, and even better are the staff for getting them fitted. Dr Christine Howard is the best for fitting them. The staff from the front office to the back room are so nice and friendly and approachable all the time. I would recommend this practice at anytime. It's not all about veneers there, they just give you son much help when it comes to any dental work. They're that good i travel up from Canberra where i live.Steve B

I'm just going through my second round of braces with another orthodontist after a botched job by Dr Christina Howard.Firstly, I got braces and had them on for two years to straighten out two two teeth for an implant when I had the braces off. I just learnt recently from another dentist that if Howard had moved them properly the first time I wouldn't have to go through braces again but an xray was never taken to see if they had actually finished moving before the braces came off.When I got the braces off I had a temporary bridge for a fake tooth connected to my front tooth.When Christina had it removed for the bridge to be cleaned there was decay on the back of the tooth. When we asked if it was a serious problem she brushed it off like it was nothing and attempted to fix the problem. Well after seeing another dentist for a second opinion they confirmed my tooth is now permanently damaged, so let's hope it doesn't fall out!Apart from the dentistry, she has the lowest level of professionalism. Her son would regularly come in while I was in the chair and talk to Howard over by body. She would have people in and out of the room asking questions while standing over me and they'd be talking constantly.If I could give 0 stars I would. I would recommend anywhere else but here***EDIT - A response to your reply**Yes you haven't seen me since 2014 because I found a dentist who provided me a more professional service. My care plan should have been completed with an implant after the first round of braces came off but the roots did NOT move for the implant which is what the braces SHOULD HAVE DONE. I have no intention of coming back, I would much prefer to travel further to a dentist that actual has my best interests at heart.

The worst treatment of my life happened a year ago. Christina was very rude and arrogant. I cried and told her that it hurt when she touched my gums, and I hoped it would be gentle. Meanwhile, she kept chatting with her neighbor. I sat on the bed and cried twice before the dental treatment was finished.

I've been going to Smile Dentistry in Balmain for years now, they are great and always very professional and friendly. Today I needed X-Rays and 2 fillings, and Chanel who looked after me was so gentle and careful. Great job, it was painless and over pretty quickly! Highly recommended.

Dr Herbert is very friendly and is excellent in the way he conducts his work. He is by far the best orthodontist employed at Smile - nothing beats his charisma and high quality work and effort.When Dr Herbert is not in charge of my teeth for an appointment, I am not happy with the quality of the orthodontists who work on my teeth. They are usually quite rough and are not friendly/don’t speak at all.I find it a little bit uncomfortable how employees feel free to walk in and out of closed doors while I’m in the middle of my appointment. I don’t enjoy hearing my orthodontist talking with someone about a miscarriage while she is fiddling with my teeth. I do not have this experience with Dr Herbert.The new dentist room upstairs is very nice and modern, but the rooms downstairs are very tired and haven’t changed much in the 15+ years I have been going to Smile Dentistry.Dr Howard is a bit rough with my teeth but she is very experienced.

As someone who has been afraid of the dentist her entire life, getting a wisdom tooth out was terrifying... or so I thought. Before the actual extraction, Dr Shaya explained the process thoroughly and was very patient and reassuring. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made the experience surprisingly positive. I would definitely recommend Smile Dentistry, especially for those who have a phobia of dentists. You will be well taken care of.
