The Cottage has warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing break or meeting up with friends. And the food is very delicious.

First and only ones there. Took our order of nachos and coffee. Locals walked in an a had their orders taken. Were served their food within 10 minutes. We waited over 30 mins with still no food. Cancelled our order and they couldn't care less that we walked away. Other people walked in and had no idea where to sit or order and also waited with no service during the time we were there. Ended up walking across the road to back creek cafe where we were instantly served and food was given within minutes of ordering.Such a shame as we were looking forward to bringing the kids down for ice cream one weekend. Disappointing The Cottage Meredith.

No internet signal. Internet is a 2G or 5G ext from modem in the adjoining defunct cafe. Phoned property manager four times and then sent text message. All unanswered.Had to phone from the road because there is no Optus coverage from within cottage (no fault of owner) but meant we could not use mobile data.Air conditioner was that loud we had to turn it off.
