Meh, not bad. Some steep sections but views okay. If you've got nothing else to do that day, trail is 8k return.

I thought the views were suppose to be well worth the climb????If you want a challenging walk / climb, and a good solid cardio & legs workout, then go for it, but just make sure you bring at least 3 litres of water per person & have an above average fitness level at least. It's a tough trail. Probably best to leave early in the morning. I started at 10am. It was 29 degrees Celsius is the shade today and had to ring my shirt when I reached the top as if I'd been walking in heavy rain. Great trail but the views weren't that impressive & when you reach the top, it's a lookout about 4 square metres area to stand, so quite cramped if other hikers are there too.

The hike up is not for the faint of heart, but well worth it! Hiking up through the rainforest and looking up at all the Fan Palms is like something from a movie! Plan to take ~3-3.5 hours total and don’t forget to stop and look up!

Great and challenging hike! Can’t understand the bad reviews. We didn’t have any views at the top due to clouds but we loved this hike. It is very challenging because of the weather conditions (humidity >90%) and everything is wet and slippery. The are lots of spiders and leeches. Therefore don’t be a fool and wear long pants and bring a decent pair of hiking boots. We met some others with shorts and Nikes which had to quit the hike.

Loved the hike itself!!! Very challenging and fun, in the beautiful Daintree. You have to do it for the hike, not for the views in the end.. Would really recommend it if you're into nature and hiking.
