A1 Kennels & Cattery

Negative 5 star review. A1 Kennels & Cattery completely stuffed us around and refused to take our dogs the day before we flew out. They said they would take our dogs even with one being storm scared. We had email discussions with them on the topic, all was fine. We organised a meeting/kennel viewing with the Kennel Manager, only to have the Kennel Manager not turn up. So another meeting time had to be organsied. Then today we went to drop the dogs off, one was yipping and whining as the kids walked away and the Kennel Manager said they couldn't take the dogs because it was cruel. Even the kennel hand had tried to reason with the Kennel Manager and said they just needed some time to settle down.

The team at A1 did an amazing job and took such good care of my 2 cats. Very accommodating when I had to extend the stay for reasons out of my control and kept me informed on how my cats were doing the entire time. Excellent service and genuinely cared about the animals

Lovely people to deal with, my little fur baby only stayed one night , but was able to stay at very short notice. Thanks Dan

Wasn’t very impressed with this kennels, the lady wasn’t clear with her rates and rushed us along and wasn’t very friendly at all. She charged us for three days and the dogs only stayed for two days she charged us $240 for the 2 days when she she told us it would only be $160… I wouldn’t recommend these kennels at all, they are definitely not modern kennel’s where my dogs were placed.

The perfect retreat for our fur babies. Open areas, functional kennels, caring staff and happy pups. Can't ask for any more

I left my dog there to go to a funeral interstate. When I picked him up, his ribs and backbone were showing. I spoke to the owner who went into a, using the best food spill. If they interested in animals, they would have noticed his ribs and backbone sticking out. As for the pictures on the website, they are from Alice in Wonderland, re road into green pastures etc. The pens are dust bowls but sheltered by trees. There was a blue clam shell in there, with dust in it, nothing like the picture of a happy dog , with water and grass. No happy Jan.

I felt our cats were in safe hands and nice clean cages. The man suggested I put my cat on soft food as I mentioned he scoffs and is sometimes sick, thank you as this has helped at home. Highly recommend.

Amazing service, knowledgeable caring staff and peace of mind to know our pups Oreo and Nova, as well as our cat Talon will be in good hands.

The new owners were great to deal with, my pups had a great two week here..highly recommend

Our dogs have stayed a handful of times and each time they come home in excellent condition. There last stay was for 3 weeks and knowing they are being taken care of exceptionally well allows for a more enjoyable holiday. The level of care the dogs are treated to is more like they are owned by the kennel as opposed to just visiting.I would recommend leaving your pets here for long or short term
