We love our new carpet. Our experience with Flooring Xtra Molendinar store has been great. They honoured our quote that was four months old even though there had been an increase in the carpet price. They kindly split the order into two visits to help us out so we had enough room in our house to store furniture elsewhere whilst rooms were empty.Excellent customer service and supportive sales personThe carpet layer did a fantastic too.Everything went smoothly and to plan. We found the whole experience of selecting it the Floor A and installing our new laminated flooring to be a joy. Brynie Livermore from Flooring Xtra was easy to deal with and really answered all our questions with a minimum of fuss. The Godfrey Hurst Wide Board laminate looks awesome, thanks to Harry their floor layer. He was a lovely guy to deal with and punctual. He started the job on Wednesday and all finished and cleaned up before lunch on Friday. Great job Harry. We love our floor. Walked in absolutely stressed. Another flooring company had left us in the lurch and we had one week to get our floors fixed and covered. They did it all without a hitch. Competitive pricing, EXCELLENT customer service. The guys who installed the flooring were absolutely lovely and really cared and had pride in their work. Over all the flooring companies we dealt with we would highly recommend flooring Xtra.

Burleigh flooring xtra: Less than a year into having full carpets laid and there is creases everywhere and bald spots. 3 emails sent with pictures and invoices and no reply. So much for lifetime warranty on install and repairs. If I had a response or some advice on how to resolve, my experience would have been much better.

We had a great flooring experience at Planit Consulting - especially considering the challenge of our office layout. The team worked on Saturday to accommodate our office hours, didn't leave any mess behind and left us completely satisfied with the services. Would recommend to anyone after a fabulous flooring experience. The sales executive, Justin was XTRA helpful in preparing the coordination of our floor layout.

Flooring Xtra is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. I had my entire floor replaced by them and the process took 6 months. The floor had to be re-laid three times because of poor workmanship. No one in the company was taking ownership over the problems I faced and the whole experience was just awful. Despite having their premium product I now have damaged floorboards. I contacted flooring Xtra on 11th of October, chased them again a week ago and still have not heard from their head office.Do not go with this company. Save your sanity and money and go with someone who will treat your house with respect.

Poor experience buying hybrid flooring.We had a number of clever choice hybrid boards that were lifting from the top layer straight out of the box and quite a number after being laid that did not sit properly with the corners lifted .When we tested the boards we found you can easily pick it up and peel the top layer off with 2 flicks of your fingertip. We thought we bought quality at $5500 worth of product but after comparing the quality with a Harvey Norman brand which was quite difficult to lift, we are disappointed and have lost confidence in the standard of the product.Also the bullnose edge for the stairs was a different shade and pattern to the flooring so they had to reorder more but had to custom make them because the ones that they sell as matching actually don’t and that ended up being a hold upWe were offered 3 boxes which is 12 floor boards which will not cover the damaged ones that they tried to blame on the possibility of it being damaged after leaving their building. Also tried to blame the damage on the layer but we had boards straight out of the box that were damagedWouldn’t use this product again and wish I could have my hard earned money back.

Be very carefull when using this company. I ended up getting all my money back after they failed to order my carpet for laying. I was then offered a discount by one of their staff, which never happened. After confronting the owner, i was told he could not offer me that discount and that the staff member in question was no longer working with them. There is no way i could trust them, so asked for my money back. Granted, i got the money back, but would never recommend this company to anyone. I ended up going elsewhere and got the job $700 cheaper.To be honest 1 star is too much.
