A huge let down !A few weeks ago, I had shown interest in viewing a great looking house (online), made it to the appointment early.. other couples arrived as well.. no sign of the real estate agent yet. the time had arrived to see the house, a young girl arrived with keys. no greeting which I found strange. She fussed with the front door for a few minutes. Using different keys.. none of them seemed to work. She rang someone and said the door isn't opening.. tried all keys again, no luck. Told us all seemed like she had the wrong set of keys. Said the office has all our names and numbers and that we are to make individual private appointments. The very next day I emailed the agent asking if I could make an appointment for the Saturday coming up. no reply for a few days. my partner looked up the place on our favourites list to see that the house had been leased ! We were really dumb founded and I felt quite annoyed that NO ONE had got back to me. I felt really disappointed. actually at the viewing (which never happened) a lady said to me; after I asked who are The Mint ? I've never heard of these folks before.. she said to me she heard they aren't very good.now I can see it ! no communication at all. very dissapinting to say the least.

Extremely disappointing customer service. They are just money minded people. Never ever let your property be managed by this agency. The day your contract is over, they break all relation. They don't even bother to inspect the house. There's poor management and absolutely no organisation of information. They had absolutely no idea that the house was being sold and tenants' contract was ending in a week. Rude staff who just want you out of their face. Very unprofessional service to customer.

Very unprofessional demeanour and strikingly by the director, Sam himself. What could have been settled as a simple, polite conversation ended up being an upsetting, unprofessional display of uncalled attitude. We were approved for a 2 bed apt in Cbd, however since it had no car park available and we were approved almost simultaneously for another more suiting apartment, we decided to opt out as from this one. We called Sam to politely inform him within 12 hours that we do not wish to continue and thats it; even without finishing our sentence the man straightway disconnected the phone. We thought, the line got disconnected by accident and hence called again to finish our conversation and without notice, he picked up and slammed us for wasting his time and slurred a bunch of impolite words. Like seriously, it was so uncouth, disturbing & unprofessional. Don't reckon such ppl should run businesses in consulting and estate agency! Really wrecked with the whole experience and glad we didn't settle in for 12 months with such a rude agency.

I had the worst customer service experience when I rang Mint this morning to inquire about property 48 Ambrose Treacy Drive, Bundoora. The Sales Director, Sam Ibrahim, was very intimidating, and I felt like I am answerable to his questions rather than him providing information for me. I thought that he has no intention of selling this property though it is advertised on their website. I felt so uncomfortable and uneasy with the conversation I had with him. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

Jess at The Mint is the BEST Leasing Manager I have ever had the pleasure of working with. After being landlords for years, we are new tenants of the agency and have never experienced such outstanding customer service. Would have loved having Jess manage our property in NSW!

I have been renting in Australia for quite some time now and I can say with absolute confidence that I haven't experienced such unprofessional, rude behaviour with any of the other real estate agents before. I honestly feel like we dodged a bullet by not proceeding with a property application through Sam Ibrahim. The incident occurred when we called him to let him know (within the same day of having received the application approval) that we wouldn't be able to proceed with the application as we'd been able to secure another property that suited our requirements better. Not only did he cut the phone whilst we were still finishing the sentence, he was audacious enough to blame us for wasting his time" and to tell us "to just stop calling him" when we called him back thinking that perhaps the call got cut due to a poor connection or something. I cannot honestly fathom how real estate agents

The only thing this agent may be good at is collecting positive reviews from one time reviewers. which could by itself, be an offence. but the owner Sam Ibrahim not being strange to questions about his integrity, this becomes the least worry of any client who decides to deal with Sam and his business.I have taken Sam to VCAT and as a result Sam Ibrahim was ordered to pay back an amount of $22,511 as a result of his misconduct.I qoute from the VCAT DecisionMr Ibrahim’s behaviour in taking and then insisting on retaining the bonus commission cannot be so easily explained. Sam and his extremely helpful team are friendly and professional personified! Highly experienced and a genuine desire to please people is how I best describe my dealings The Mint Realestate. I have referred single mums who have found it difficult to secure a rental, friends, past clients wanting bank valuations, investors looking for a trusting property manager...All have personally thanked me for referring them to Sam and his wonderful team.
