What a wonderful mushroom foraging workshop in the pine forest. A perfect balance of information, adventure, humour, time to forage and a delicious taste test at the end. Thankyou Diego and Marnie for a special experience. I will be recommending to all my friends.

Diego was very knowledgeable, and entertaining, using stories and humour to solidify the learnings. Great tasting of Marnee's recipes as well. Great day out, would highly recommend. Went home with boxes full of fresh picked mushrooms.

Really great experience! Diego was incredibly knowledgeable, amusing and obviously passionate about foraging for mushroom… he really was a fungi!We made a risotto with the foraged mushrooms for dinner, very satisfying.

Diego has an amazing wealth of knowledge and many years of experience teaching people. My partner and I both thoroughly enjoyed mushroom foraging, and I enjoyed weed foraging too back in 2016. Would recommend.

We had an amazing time learning how to forage for pine mushrooms with Diego, and learning how to prepare them with his wife Marnee! We covered a lot- from safety, varieties, as well as seasons and knowing when to go foraging. Would highly recommend to anyone interested!

Great mushroom foraging for beginners! Diego had a lot of knowledge about the local species and the practice of foraging, and spent a lot of time teaching us about the fungi we were collecting. We could tell Marnie was a knowledgeable and skilled chef, and she led us through some fantastic cooking and preservation methods for our harvest. Overall a fun day and really good intro to mushroom foraging!

My partner and I went on a foraging course last year with Diego and it was amazing. We learnt so much. This course with Diego was enough for us to start foraging on our own and be confident in identifying edible mushrooms. I'm so grateful. We have been 5-6 times foraging on our own after the course. It's a skill for life. Thank you Diego!

We had the best experience as a family at one of Diego’s mushroom workshop. My kids (5 and 7 year old ) had the best time ever. Was a bit like a treasure hunt for us all haha and we found so many mushrooms. I highly recommend Diego’s and his beautiful wife Marnee workshops. They’re full of knowledge and so passionate about the treasures that nature has to offer. We got to taste some of their yummy treats.Truly inspirational. Thank you so much to both of you. Literally just got back from an amazing day out with Diego and Marnee learning all about mushroom hunting. As I type this we have a mighty feast of saffron milk caps with butter and garlic frying up for dinner. A truly fantastic experience. Life skills acquired. Cannot recommend this enough. Thank you Diego and Marnee!!

Foraging with Diego Bonetto
We had a fantastic experience with Diego and Marnee at their foraging workshop near Oberon on 19 May, 2023. Diego was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about mushrooms and we learnt so much. And it was great fun. Marnee showed us some wonderful mushroom based recipes and we were able to enjoy some of the mushrooms she cooked on the day. Overall this was a first rate experience and we absolutely and highly recommend this course to anyone interested in wild foraging for mushrooms. Many thanks Diego and Marnee! David and Milena
