Never buy from this place ever again. Supposedly premium product (remains to be seen from recent online reviews) but with zero customer service. For similar price, buy from West Elm, Globe West or Coco Republic. Calls to Dispatch take at least an hour to be answered and when you leave your phone number, no one ever bothered to call back to update you on delivery timing.Waited 3 months for sofa only to have it delayed by another month in January because missed making balance payment by 55 minutes, a 12pm cutoff on a Friday in December when we have visitors at home already and kids activities to organise.They texted/emailed less than 24 hours before re this balance payment if we want to make next Friday delivery. This is after I followed up on when delivery is yesterday, which they still didn’t know. You would think if they can email/text, they can have the courtesy to call the customer especially since I’ve been on hold for an hour before.Didn’t see the emails/texts until late last night so had to organise last minute transfer to credit card as they only take credit card payment. Complained with showroom and dispatch but apparently can’t do anything even though it was only an hour after their cut off that we made payment. No offer of waiver of delivery fee when I was promised by showroom people that if I buy on that date 3 months ago, the sofa will be delivered on 2 Dec. So now they have our money for a month while we wait until January to have this sofa - to say we are disappointed is an understatement!You would think $15k full price sofa deserves at least a courtesy phone call maybe from either Dispatch (different teams not speaking to each other) or showroom person (rather than them waiting idle in stores when it’s quieter in weekdays) to help ensuring all customers they promised to deliver in December actually have their furniture in December, the busiest time of the year!

We bought a Reo 2.5 seater and single recliner plus 2 pocket tables. A substantial investment. The staff at the Annadale and Moore Park store were fantastic. The service people that came twice to assess and repair poor workmanship were fantastic.The reason for the 1 star is that the 2.5 seater and the single Reo recliners were very poorly made. The 2.5 seater had to be replaced. And it was replaced by an equally poor recliner. The entire experience took over 6 months.Contacting anyone at service or store is practically impossible. I hindsite I would have preferred a refund.When I wrote and asked for a 3rd pocket table which are round $200 as interest for the $7000 they had of my money I have never had a responce.Poor service and questionable quality.15th January 2023A month later and after replying to Kaitlyn everyone at King had gone underground.2.5 Reo seater sagging and felt or foam under leather has moved to the front of the lounge.Don't be fooled by the one on display at the Moore Park store.Would strongly recommend to not buy.

So rude. We have purchased several items from king full price in excess of $20k. We saw a chair we liked at the outlet (as we live around the corner) and went across to see if the store had them and how long it would take to order (knowing full well they would be retail prices but we loved the style). The minute we mentioned where we saw them the Asian sales assistant was so rude and condescending. Yes we went to the outlet as furniture is available now (not months away) it doesn’t mean we can’t afford king retail we sure as hell won’t be helping that stores sales or commissions again though.

EDIT: My order details, including icon photo are all the same as google. I have the complaints open in another window where I can see this. I have been in contact with head office, the show room, despatch etc. I have emailed customercare email prior to King's reply below, with no response from them. Nobody will respond. Fair trading and ACCC are involved.In May 2022 I purchased two lounges to be used as beds. This was to be delivered to us in Melbourne for our move from Sydney. We advised in October that we would be moving in December and were told it would come before Christmas. Come then, after organising family to visit etc, I rang (after no contact from King) and was told they would not arrive until January. I requested a refund on delivery, which I was rang up by the saleswoman who sold the couch and was rudely spoken to. I was then advised via sms (first contact regarding my delivery) that it was delayed until end of jan. I checked online, and a refund for my delivery was put on my (already paid) invoice, but I have not received any refund. I have since contacted fair trading and then emailed requesting reimbursement for accomodation my family needed due to no couches (they are sofa beds) as advised by fair trading. No contact since early jan from then, and I have now checked delivery again to see it updated to MARCH. In what world is any of this acceptable?? Especially after spending 16k on two couches. We have had no couch since December in our living room. Disgusting service, disgusting company. I am now requesting a full refund. I have emailed king again, but who knows if they will respond. But matter is now also with fair trading. Avoid these guys like the plague.

Terrible customer service. Our sofa was just out of warranty, when the touch glide stopped working leaving sofa locked in an uncomfortable position.We had to pay in advance before they would raise a service call. We did, and they said someone would come out within 10 days, but 20 days later and they are still not booked in a date, and phone calls and emails go unanswered.

Every single time we've been there the staff have been rude and unhelpful. They cut you off without hearing your questions thinking they got everything. We've been to other King branches and experience had been different. Hope they actually look into the customer service that is provided on site. Have been seeing other similar comments but nothing was ever done. Does not live up to the brand's reputation

The furniture is nice but expect to be treated terribly once you pay a deposit.We were mucked around with our furniture which was delayed by 4 weeks. No customer service, no rely to phone calls or emails, the staff at Annandale blame one another and no body ever returns messages.Never again.

Incompetent and rude staff. Make false promises and cannot deliver. Zero understanding of customer service.Just take a read of all the one star reviews and it seems there is an ongoing pattern here. They take full payment weeks in advance promise a delivery and then delays… no contact to let you know and customers constantly chasing up deliveries.Your organisation is a joke and your owners obviously don’t give a toss otherwise they would have made changes.First time purchase for me and never again.

I bought a couch in July. The delivery date was 25th Nov. I called 5 times before the delivery date to confirm the delivery address, every time I waited for more than 40 mins, but still couldn’t get through. Finally I called before 9am which is 2 days before delivery, the person told me that the address has been updated in the system and would make sure the driver has the correct address. However, on the delivery date the driver still had the wrong address which is 15 mins from my current address. He said he couldn’t do it. The next week I called King Living again to check when they are going to reschedule the delivery, surprisingly they had no answer. They said someone would contact me in 2 days. I waited for a week, no one emailed or called. So I called them again the week after, then they told me someone would contact me next week to confirm the delivery between 19-23 Dec which is a month later than the original delivery date. During Xmas season I can’t believe any business assumes we’ll be at home for the couch definitely. The staff’s reply was so cold. I’ll never purchase anything from King Living again. The worst purchase experience ever in Australia.
