We live in Western Australia and were concerned about not being at our home on the Gold Coast to oversee the bathrooms that needed complete renovations. We were given Smith &Sons contact details and from our first call to Neil to the completion of the renovations he was there to help and guide us through the process. His response to messages and decisions that were needed to be made were immediate. Photos were taken constantly to show the progress of the work and although we have not seen the final renovations first hand, we are 100% convinced that we would be very happy with the results.We would recommend Smith & Sons for their attention to detail and their expertise. To Neil and his team, the whole renovation of our family unit has been an easy enjoyable experience. From day one nothing was to hard and always a happy to help attitude. Before the work started the Covid 19 travel restrictions were introduced which meant we couldn’t go and see what was happening. Neil kept us informed and sent pics which made us feel involved even though we couldn’t be there. Honesty and trustworthy is how I would describe the team. Neil and his team completed a full refurb of our apartment (ceilings, flooring, full kitchen and bathroom) and we were thoroughly satisfied with their work from start to finish. Neil worked closely with us to scope and price the work and was always quick to answer queries. They worked well with the body corp and other residents during the project and we're very happy with the finished works. We initially requested a quote with Smith and Sons after viewing the before and after jobs on their Social Media sites. Neil was very prompt at getting back to us, was honest and realistic about our proposed project. We were impressed with the range of products and timeframe of completion and felt confident in their knowledge and experience with renovations. Neil and his team commenced the project efficiently and promptly and communicated each step very clearly to us so we felt involved in the whole process. Neil took over our half completed construction project, achieved completion ahead of schedule, finished beautifully in 3.5 months, (while it took the previous builder more than 1 year to reach frame stage).
