Foster Hydronic Heating

Great product and great service. We just had hydronic heating system put in and it has been very effective, particularly with the recent very cold weather. We have hardly noticed it is winter. It is great not to have blowing hot air anymore, just beautiful radiant heat. The panels are attractive and blend in well in the house.The system was very professionally installed and set up. Managing it is a simple process through a very intuitive wall controller.

Foster Heating and Paul their technician have been great at troubleshooting our system (which was not installed by them) and finding solutions so we can stay warm.We are so grateful.

Great service - from start to finish. Existing boiler went bung, Matt came out the next day and gave us a quote. The new boiler was installed in the next 48 hours. The installation team (all 2 of them) were professional and helpful. Working like a dream!

Highly recommend. We had a retrofit install for a large house needing both heating and cooling. The system installed performs exceptionally and the team were always helpful, prompt and efficient. Had been stressful trying to work out what we needed so was really glad we chose Foster.

Very happy with the service by the whole team. Had Paul in Canberra come out with short notice, and assess our old system which we were anticipating needed replacing. He explained what was not working and made it clear why it was more economical to swap out the old boiler. We are very happy with the new boiler as it is more efficient and heats up more quickly which was installed a couple of days after we agreed to the quote. Paul was great during the whole process and has completed a very tidy install, and Michael from the office processed the invoice and responded to questions quickly. The quote was easy to understand and included parts, labour and a flush of the system. Would recommend this company for your hydronic heating needs!

These guys installed hydronic about 18 months back. We haven’t regretted it at all. Owner is great to deal with and the installers were very professional even though they had a few challenges with the access and with getting all the right parts. I would recommend it to others. The cost to run has been surprisingly reasonable and yet the house always feels comfortable.

Our fosters hydronic system, installed in a new extension, which has only been completed for 4 months has stopped working on two occasions on the coldest Canberra days. The first time was a Friday and no after hours service technician was available. A technician did attend to the system the following Monday advising us that we needed to add water because the pressure level had dropped. He hooked up the hose, unscrewed the control board and pushed a few buttons. Lovely man and the floor gradually began to heat up. He said there could be a leak!. About a week later I returned on Monday morning having been away to find the pressure needle on zero again. I contacted the office and spoke to another nice gentleman who asked me if I knew how to fill it up. I explained that the technician mentioned a week ago that it could have a leak and I wasn’t sure thst I had the correct connector as the technician has brought his own. The gentleman advised me that the pipes get bubbles in them and this can go on for 18 months and the pressure goes down. I’m just wondering whether everyone else who has hydronic heating installed has to fill it up with water every week to 10 days.

We had hydronic heating installed by these guys last week and are very happy with it. The heating warms up the house very effectively, is silent and provides a constant temperature throughout the house. The installation went smoothly - the system was installed on time and the installers were friendly and professional. Also, the company stuck to their quote even though they had to upgrade our gas line. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the heating and highly recommend Canberra Hydronic Heating.

I requested a quote for a heat pump to provide supply to a domestic in-slab hydronic system. I deal with commercial quotes all the time, and have many years business experience.I received a quote which did not include enough detail for me to evaluate it as a fair deal. I asked for some more info and got an offensive phone call which started with the rep telling me I didn't understand the quote. It quickly went down from there, so I hung up. I sent an email back simply saying I had received an offensive phone call and not to contact me again. I then got an email from the person who had called me saying not to contact them!
