Vinnies Gymea

You can find bargains here but depending on what you are looking for you need time to scour through the clothing, books and bric a brac. Nicely laid out but some things are a little overpriced for a charity shop. Vinnies in general are becoming like antique dealers. I did see, some time ago now, Clarice Cliff ceramic item which was priced in excess of $1,000 in their locked cabinet. Sometimes I wonder if they are geared towards antique dealers or the struggling general public looking for a bargain. Vinnies in Cronulla even have printouts from Ebay showing a similar item and what it was listed on Ebay for. They should just put it on Ebay or take it to an antique dealer. Shame on you Vinnies. I understand the money goes to a good cause but Vinnies" these items are donated so please remember who your audience is."

A great little store in the heart of Gymea with a wonderful store manager who makes you feel right at home.Take your time here to rummage through the shelves and racks for hidden bargains and make sure to check out the shop window at the front is sometimes the best goodies are hiding in plain sight.The store is clean well lit and nicely laid out.

Very upset to have been received with very poor customer service and treated quite badly. The volunteer working today had the worst attitude, even scowling at me.

Such a lovely store at Vinnies Gymea...the window displays were done very well and looked quite eye catching. The lady on the front counter was friendly & helpful. I got a lovely bag & a bracelet at bargain prices. Will definitely be back. Thank you! :)

I bought 2 dresses and 2 shirts (for my husband) in 6 months from Vinnes Gymea. I returned the 2 shirts cos they didn’t fit. When I took the 2nd shirt to return, I was “greeted” by Lilian the staff, “why you always like to return?”, RIGHT at the entrance! Not a hello. Not how r u. Like a street person right at the door looking for food or money.

The way they display things is definitely like stores in a shopping centre - tidy & attractive!
