Unfortunately I live outside their service area but that didnt stop Sid being a wonderful person doing some research to find the part I needed and someone in victoria who had it in stock so that I could order it myself. Thank you so much for helping me out even though it didnt benefit you in time or money. very kind.

Sid is amazing. He is very patient and will explain stuff to me. Very personable. He even came on his day off to fix my oven for me though I wouldn't have minded to wait a few more days until he is free.Will totally recommend him and will call him again if I have difficulty with my oven.

Completely ripped off. I wanted my Smeg oven and dishwasher repaired.I should have known once the two service people started pulling the oven to pieces and guessing at what might be the problem. They had no idea how to repair the oven and went from one thing to another, charging according.I had to get them back in 1 hour later after they had left the door switch out. This left the light on in the oven continuously.The dishwasher after charging for a drain pump, pressure switch and labour to suit $500 turned out to be a build up of grim in the air pressure tank.Domestic Appliances tried to tell me if the leaking continued it was due to an O ring where the drain hose pushed into the out let hose had loosened.Again they had no idea and would charge for their incompetence.The Alantin Smeg dealer who knew nothing of the two less than reputable service people removed the grim and only charged for his time. He also explained every step he was taking and why. some one who knew what he was doing.On the first visit I asked the second service person to wear a mask due to covid restriction and supplied a mask. He wore it under his noise which is useless. On the subsequence visits he did not wear one. This was due to being immune comprimised

Jerry and Sid are really good technicians. They take the time to service a lot of our appliance issues diligently at Oaks on William st. They are patient when it comes to diagnosis of the root cause in a appliance and they work hard to service them.

Sid and Jerry were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately after fixing my oven and replacing parts, it started shorting and turning off (due to the new elements being faulty). Therefore they had to return to my place twice. But they did so quickly, without hesitation and at no charge. They provided a great service!!

Highly recommend this man for your oven repair needs.I needed an urgent repair for an oven glass replacement. He managed to get this custom made and all done within a short amount of time.I would not hesitate to call him.regards David

When I booked I asked if they were able to do a rangehood installation while looking at oven and they said they could. Proceeded to pull out range hood and then said they would have to come back with materials for re-fit of new one. Told me it would be $400, and said it had to be cash or the cost would go up to $500. Did half the job, took $200 with the promise to come back to finish it and they decided it was all too hard. They weren't able to fix my overn either. My view is don't start a job you have no intention of finishing - incompetent, dishonest, and just a blatant cash grab from these two.

Terrible service. Asked about vaccination status when booking and assured it was no problem. Although they said they would be there first thing, on the day we were messaged by them at 9.30 in the morning saying they were cancelling as they weren't vaccinated. If that's how they run their business I am glad they came nowhere near our machines.
