Absolute rip off! Never go with these people.Spoke to someone on the phone who was absolutely disgusting. I received a call to pay over the phone and my price changed from $545, the to $590 then to $615. I gave my card details over the phone and then he originally asked for me to text my last 4 digits of my card details and then when I refused he started swearing and screaming, wouldn’t allow me to talk and blatantly screaming over me.To put it simply, don’t go with them. The most disgusting service and an absolute rip off

Never use this company. I called them and it cost me nearly $600 for a battery. Was told I had a 3 yr warranty. Just over a year this battery died I called to get it replaced under warranty and the employee said the problem was my alternator not charging battery and I had to pay another nearly $600 for a replacement battery. I had the alternator tested the next day by a real mechanic who said it was perfect. When I took this further because they ignored my emails they said it must have been another alternator and I was lying and they wouldn't refund. Total scam artists who need to be shut down

I used this guy on 2016 and I paid $600 in total for a battery replacement which he said will last me for 10 yrs. After a year of using the battery from him, my car will detect the red light sensor for the battery on and off. When the battery died after I left the light on for less than 20 minutes i called NRMA and I was told that $600 is very expensive and upon checking there was nothing special about the battery that he sold me. He was very rude on the phone and yelled at me when I told him about it and he was swearing on the NRMA guy. I wont recommend this person. Very very unprofessional and expensive.

Batteries has to be one of the worst battery company in sydney, MAJOR SCAM, they came out after calling them for a break down as i thought my battery was faulty as my car stopped working on the way home,A random man came out in a little car with no tools or any experience and was asking to use my tools and socket set to fix the battery which is very strange as i would have thought they had their own tools.I was hoping they would first test my original battery to see if it needs replacing but instead he didnt test anything and he asked for my socket set and took it out straight away and threw my old battery on the side of the road. I will also be reporting illegal dumping to Environment NSW which is a massive fine. The battery they provided is in good working order but my car did not start after replacing, i later found out it was my timing belt so my battery was not the cause of my breakdown, they they then charged me almost $600 and left me stranded in the middle of no where, I then picked up my old battery that they dumped and took it home after i had to get a tow truck, also they state of their website that they are responsible of removing and disposing of old batterys, i called and asked why they didnt take it and the owner said its not our problem and that we have to pay extra for removal which is absolutely no true. i have then sent them a email with the evidence of the battery dumping and in the process of changing the battery they have ripped other wires which im not sure what they power in my car.NO NOT GO TO THESE SCAMMERS

I just bought the old battery more than one year ago but the guy insisted to sell me the new battery and said my one completely died without even trying to charge it to see if it still worked. He said the reason why my battery died was because I haven’t driven the car for too long, well yeah two weeks without driving is very long and would totally damage the battery...Would never ever call their number again!

Put new batteries in my truck as preventative maintenance. Called Batteries on the Road late Friday evening to get quote and booked for Saturday morning at specific time. Technician called me five minutes before the appointment time.....arrived right on time.....did the job professionally..... no fuss.....no drama. Paid online as quoted. Highly recommended if you need a good service!!

Should’ve given them zero star if I had a choice. After 3 months purchasing the battery, the car couldn’t be started all of a sudden. It turned out that the battery I purchased was a FAULTY one.I called the customer service number but they tried to deny the battery was faulty and blamed my car got issues. After replacing with a good battery, the car was started immediately and all working fine. This is how you guys doing business. I really hope you all could sleep well every night after treating customers like that.

Quick, efficient and accommodating service. A bit skeptical to begin with, esp with all the mixed reviews but the mechanic turned up early the next day, jump start my car with dead battery, sold me a discounted supercharge battery which was cheaper than Autobarn and replaced it all within an hour. Mechanic reassured me that the battery is new and they will honor the warranties if it fails prematurely (installed early March, 20). Mobile mechanics definitely handy if you can't jump start your own car (if car facing fence or don't have a booster box). Tip: when getting a quote make sure you ask if price quoted is inclusive of GST. Also, ensure battery installed is compatible to avoid trial and error. But so far so good.

Charged $650 poor customer service, NEVER RECOMMEND.Very Poor experience and never ever trust, so so bad.Lier give reasons to charge stupidly and even after sharing the invoice no further response.Battery Died in 30mins. This is insane.Raised my concern to Fair trading if you haven't please do they are asking for few more complaints so that we can sue to get our hard earned money back and the stress we go thru.

We purchased 2 batteries for a Horse Truck, spending $790 and two months later the batteries were stone dead. The reaction when we called the company was - we will charge you to come and investigate. Surely there is a warranty on batteries which lasts more than 2 months - will never use again and do not recommend to anyone.
