Mamma's Italian Restaurant
Some of the worst, rudest service I’ve ever experienced. I was so excited to go here for my birthday dinner with family as I love Italian food and we are locals who love supporting local business. My mum is celiac so she had to ask a few questions and the two waitresses who served us were so dismissive and rude, they made it a painful ordeal and they made my mum feel humiliated. The food was nice but is not for celiacs.

Very nice place. You can directly see that the food will be tasty.The only negative comment would be about the lasagna. If you are not fan of strong ham taste, dont go with lasagna. The only taste I was able to get was ham from the lasagna

Okay food and bad service. After walking in we were told that my partner (who had brought some food in a container because he can’t eat anything else) could not eat the food he brought. The waitress said it was because “this is a restaurant” despite that we’d been to plenty of restaurants before that, that were okay with him eating his own food once they understood why. Only reason he was there was because it was someone’s birthday and they had chosen the restaurant.We were there for about 20 minutes before someone offered us some water. We had tried to get a waiter walking past to notice us so we could ask for it a few times.Took a while to ask about drinks and I may have gotten an extra drink if I hadve been asked a bit earlier.Food service was prompt but our mains were brought out right after our starter so we barely had time to eat the garlic bread before our meals were there. Food was tasty but I paid $28 for only three pieces of small cannelloni and was still hungry after that and the garlic bread.Some of the staff were nice but others were kind of rude or snarky, or would forget that we asked for cutlery or something.The two stars were because I still had an okay meal and nothing really went wrong, I just didn’t like the vibe and felt ignored by waiters from the get go. Knew from the start with the way that that one staff member spoke to us and being ignored when wanting water, that we wouldn’t come back.

What a place,very busy,so you need to book.The staff were very friendly and attentive. The tables were cleaned as soon as something was eaten.The toilets were like a very posh hotel.There was a wide variety of desserts,( i didn't have any as my meal filled me up),a very large selection of wines,spirits and cocktails. The only thing that I can complain of was I am a big woman and the tables and chairs were very close to each other, so It was a little hard to get out.

A very well presented place. Lovely decor, table was well presented, without being over done. The staff were SO friendly and helpful , especially with my wife's dietary needs. Food and drinks were 11 out of 10.

Almost inedible. I had the lamb rack. Asked for it medium rare and it was completely overcooked and dried out. The plate was swimming in cold gravy and drowned the sparse vegetables. My partner had the seafood risotto and was very bland. The staff were surly, not one smile. We asked for a cannoli and it never came. If we had this food at a RSL I would have thought no issue, you get what you pay for but this was less than RSL quality at expensive restaurant prices. Very disappointed and feeling very ripped off indeed.

I really wanted this to be 5 stars but, the poor experience doesn’t let it be at all. Tonight my fiancé and myself thought we would drive 40 mins to come to dinner at Mammas after hearing how great it was. Once seated we were awkwardly waiting for menus for a significant amount of time where we had to ask for menus. We got menus and then came the wait for our order to be taken except that part didn’t happen. 15 minutes had passed and we noticed there were 2 other tables also waiting for their orders to be taken and unfortunately it wasn’t that busy as there were staff standing around awkwardly. At this point we had been at the restaurant for 20 minutes and didn’t have any drinks not even tap water. We flagged a staff member down and asked for our orders to be taken and pointed out the other two tables that were also waiting. She came to take our order but, we politely said feel free to take their order first pointing at a table who was already waiting when we arrived only to be told in a very snarky way “I have a system, I’m taking your order first”.The positives of the night was the speed in which our meals came out, the amazingly kind and sweet elderly lady who delivered our meals and the garlic bread.Unfortunately the pasta meals weren’t very flavorful.We also witnessed a disagreement between two staff right next to our table.I honestly felt like we were on an episode of IKitchen Nightmares.I’m not someone who leaves reviews often and certainly want to see the best in everyone but, this was just a damper on our holiday.Hope everyone was just having a bad day rather than it being like that on a regular basis.

Food and service was excellent. Happy to adjust for dietary requirements. Hot chocolate and chocolate mousse was divine. Definitely not disappointed with anything that we ordered. Such a lovely atmosphere.
