Proserpine Swimming Pool

Fantastic pool, fantastic staff and fantastic coz it’s free! Well done Proserpine!

Beautiful Olympic sized pool. Lifeguard Daniel met us with a friendly smile. Cool showers to freshen up afterwards. Clean and tidy All for free. Can't get better than this

Great waterpark that's been added next to the pool, kids love it. and the pool is always clean

Free, Clean, quiet and perfect for lap swimming. Even fun for the kids with a water park on site and kids are allowed to jump and dive off blocks and half the pool is available for them to swim. Plenty of seating and shade too. There is also a basket ball hoop and the lifeguards do have some.pool equipment you can borrow eg balls, floats etc. Parking is just outside and plenty of it too!

The girls and myself enjoyed several days swimming at the pools.They also have a water park attached to it. The best thing about it was it didn't cost anything so you spent the entry fee on snacks for the kids this way you felt like you were giving something back.

What a hidden Gem this place is. In Airlie for the weekend, lagoon was stinking hot probably 32'c in the water. Found this place online, free entry stay as long as you like, lifeguard on duty, Olympic size pool and kids water park too. Council has done a great job here for the locals. Camp site just nestled behind the complex. Could see an easy weekend with the family here, stay at camp-site, walk round corner to pool, kids happy amd cool. Easy walk to town main street! If you are travelling through with kids, you would be crazy not to pull in here. It'll will knacker out the kids for a bit of peace and quiet for the next leg of your journey! Open very early...bloody fantastic. Well done Proserpine!

The blocks and nice and they aren't slippery as well as the lanes being nice and wide for a lovely swim.

Wow, I have always loved taking kids to the pool, but the lifeguards really need to get on the same page! One telling the kids that they could do certain stuff up deep end as there was maybe 7 people at pool and then miss grumpy, no you can’t anything! Also the way she spoke was downright rude!

Free option to cool off the humidity with partially shade covered main pool and pools for all ages.
