ALL STAFF MEMBERS ARE RUDE. The shop is majorly OVERPRICED. A lot of the stuff you can buy brand new cheaper. You are constantly getting stared at the entire time you are shopping which makes you feel extremely uncomfortable. This is definitely not a charity shop or help people in need ANYMORE and is more so a business!

Wow! This place has had a refurb, and it's done wonders for it.Apparently, it was all done over 12 months ago. Has it really been that long since I visited.Gone is the dingy dirty type warehouse replaced with double the size, a fresh coat of paint, and some great ideas on how to style/ present their stock. This place is now massive and still the biggest issue I'd the parking situation or lack thereof. There's maybe 12 parks onsite if that, and it's a rare for one to be free. I had to park in an adjacent construction area as there really isn't street parking. They have a great mix of new and old, and they have a fairly standard type pricing.

Went in to find a belt for jeans my boyfriend and I had just thrifted from a nearby Vinnies right before coming to lifeline. We came in with our jeans just so we could find a belt to fit them (since they were quite large). The whole time we were there the workers were just staring at us and honestly it made us both somewhat uncomfortable, usually a few stares now and then are normal but this was just blatant dirty looks. After less than 10 minutes we went to the register to purchase a belt as well as showing them a receipt for our jeans just to make it clear they weren’t stolen or anything like that. The lady at the register was honestly so rude I couldn’t even process it, surely if you’re working at lifeline and representing a good cause you would at least treat a customer with some basic human decency? After that we headed to our car, and as we turned back all the workers had gone to the storage unit and were staring at us, one of them seeming like they had a lot to say to the others all gathered around while folding boxes. We stayed for a moment just to put on the belts since we didn’t feel comfortable enough to stay inside and do so, which then follows the line of the same worker calling us suspicious for being at our own car?Again, so hard to process since we had only just bought an item to be treated so poorly for no reason.. other than an assumption that was quickly ruled out with a receipt. After getting everything sorted in the car we decided to go and as we pulled out the same worker who was talking about us decided to point at our car as we left. The reason? Not a clue.Maybe just stick to folding your boxes next time instead of being rude to people for no reason.

I love that this op shop organises clothes by sizes (rather than colour). It makes finding things that fit me a lot easier, and they also tend to have more plus sized clothes compared to other Brisbane op shops.
