no toilets ..very isolated ..watch the possums ..take a spare tyre...strictly tents or camper trailers ...caravans would not make it in

A good area for camping. I would recommend a 4wd to access this location but I have seen 2wd vehicles go in and out without too much trouble. There are a lot of old gold diggings found here from the gold rush days so make sure to pack a gold pan if heading here. It is possible to drive 4wds to the junction of the Turon and Macquarie Rivers from this reserve during good weather periods. Do not attempt when storms are in area as flash flooding will result in inaccessible river crossings. A large hole of water can be found at the junction of the two rivers. Perfect for all water activities. Big fish live here. There are no rubbish bins at this location so you will need to take your rubbish with you when you leave.Note: A drop toilet is now located at this reserve.

Close enough to Hill End for an easy trip in for supplies, far enough from Hill End that you're not over run by other campers.
