✭ Exactly what Barkly Street needed; couldn't ignore it when walking past✭ Owner was welcoming and friendly; could tell she was passionate about her business✭ Coffee was delicious; variety of pastries on offer too✭ Space is cozy and beautifully set up✭ Looking forward to lockdown ending so that I can sit down inside with a coffee and new book ((for every book sold, a tree is planted))

Such a beautiful place to be surrounded with books, and you can order coffee and cakes to read the books too.I can stay there all day, but unfortunately they close at 4pm on the week day.

My partner and I frequently come here. The shop itself is gorgeous. They have a variety of books, vinyls, and a cafe, all of which are presented beautifully. We come here to study as the place is usually quiet and has a cozy vibe to it. Chestnut is definitely our favourite bookshop.

A nice and cosy bookshop with the bonus of a in built cafe. I had the pleasure of having an amazing cappuccino, the magic in their coffee is the brand of milk a specialised jersey cows milk, it's to die for. I will come back just for this coffee let alone the long list of books that jumped up wanting to come home with me!
