I've been in this store half a dozen times in the last 2 weeks alone and not once has any staff member bothered to offer me any assistance, even pushing past me to go and socialise with collegues.I'm glad they're doing so well they can afford to ignore their customers, this one won't be back.

We visited Paddy Pallin in Hobart today. We had EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE from Sloz (Andy The Hungarian). Friendly, efficient, NOT PUSHY, knowledgeable and very polite. He was great. His store colleagues also participated in the event and Lo and Behold $1K later we are happy shoppers

These folks are fantastic. They have a great range of gear but most importantly their staff is fantastic and their business actually stands by its values. These folks extend discounts, donations and staff time to local environmental orgs and efforts. Stop in for whatever gear you may need and they’ll be more than ready to give you a helping hand - they’re all so friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks to Evan and the crew for your great support for environmental activists in Tassie - it doesn’t go unnoticed!

Cloth is good, but some of the staff there are unconcerned about you at all when you only need to buy some inexpensive stuff. They would just simply shove your cloth into a bag if you asked for one. Nice customer service.

Sensational experience.I had a very pleasant shopping experience thanks to the team members at Paddy Pallin Hobart. Andy, Evan and Patricia were extremely helpful assisting me with repairing my faulty Nemo tent. They were also able to provide me with tons of tips on different equipments such as Tarps and alpine tents. Don't be shy to approach the staffs and ask for help!Couple things I would love to see in the future would be wider range of backpack options from Gregory along with more options on high fill power down vests/jackets. (Perhaps 800 fill power vests from North Face)
