Cabernet Cottage
What a nice little cottage. The old characteristic charm of the fireplace, 9 foot ceilings, creeking floorboards and beautiful cottage garden. Very functional for large family. Secure yard for your furry friend, just be mindful of the driveway gate being on wheels. Great location, short stroll to main street for a spot of shopping or gourmet barossa eateries. Great coffee machine and large kitchen/dining for a table feast.

Cabernet Cottage
We can’t recommend Cabernet Cottage highly enough. Not only is the cottage beautifully appointed and in a fantastic location close to central Tanunda, but Sharyn & Michael’s hospitality is unbelievably generous. We were caught in a Covid quarantine situation when there was a lockdown in our home state (WA) and we were required to get swabbed and stay out until we got the all clear. Despite being due to leave the next day Michael & Sharyn offered an extra nights accommodation for free, to do any shopping we needed and to pick up dinner from a local restaurant for us... all without being asked and offered genuinely. We couldn’t believe the support and generosity!

Cabernet Cottage
We shared a wonderful few days at Cabernet Cottage with friends. It was so homely. We used the bbq to cook the breakfast and dinner. The living room was snuggly in the evening, with the roaring fire, accompanied by the port and fabulous Rocky Road left by the owners. The pantry is well stocked with cooking oil, hot chocolate, teas and coffees etc. Plenty of crockery and utensils. The layout worked really well for us. We had the bedroom and bathroom located through the kitchen. Our friends and children took the bedrooms and bathroom on the main hallway. Very quiet street at night. Beautiful garden front and back, especially if you like roses. We would definitely stay here again if we come to Barossa.

Quaint, clean and comfortable. Beds were lovely. Well equipped with breakfast supplies. Chocolates and wine were welcome. Near to the main street,but very quiet. Highly recommended

Cabernet Cottage
Our stay at Cabernet Cottage was just wonderful! The weather was hot during our stay but the air-conditioned cottage was delightfully cooled throughout. The bed was comfy, and everything was beautifully clean. The decor is cosy and cottagey with a homely comfy ambience. The breakfast supplied was delicious! The spa was a real treat. We thought there might be some street noise, but nope, nothing. The main Street is very close by. Lots of beautiful roses in the garden. The cottage would be wonderful for couples or families.
