Ecellent center with a wide variety of social activities, many of them aimed at older people. Writers club, book club, low-cost lunch on Tuesdays, keep fit and cycling groups, some bus outings - and more.On-street parking is not a problem. I go there quite often. Activities are cheaper if you pay for membership. You can book for an activity by phone or by logging on to their website. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Connect Victoria Park is a great meeting and sharing place. Its not just for old timers, home cooked lunches for a few dollars, cycling meet ups and best of all the Mackie Street singers who rehearse every Tuesday at 6.30pm. No auditions but a fantastic choir master, David. So if you've never sung before and want to try your hand at 4 part harmony, this is the place to be. Great songs and great atmosphere.

A great place to play bingo with good prize money every Saturday, doors open at 11am with eyes down at 1pm.
